Josh64 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 i only use my TV speakers anyway... so I don't care. I don't care about HD either, my TV is just average, so I dont need the Wii to have all this fancy crap xD
DCK Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I know Wiigama, but that doesn't make the sound any better now does it? Dolby Pro Logic II = analog Dolby Digital 5.1 = digital I know Wii has to get better performance but Pro Logic II is outdated for games. End of discussion. Besides, stop making stupid posts on being offered a job at Nintendo and being an engineer. It's obvious you are no older than 14.

Hellfire Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I don't need it cause I dont have a 5.1 system, but I think it's somthing that Nintendo should have put in.

Kurtle Squad Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 WIIS SOUND IS NOT WEAKER IN REAL WORLD POWER That's because sound's measured in Hz, not W
wiiagama Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 HOW IS wii sound only ANOLOG ARE YOU COMPLEATLY DEMENTED how is sound software stored on wiis disc =digitally how is pre recorded sound stored on wii disc=digitally how does wiis dedicated digital sound processor process sound isit like it says on the can DIGITAL the high qoality digital sound mixed in ether pro logic 2 5.1 or pro logic 2x 6.1/7.1 compatable check with dolby.com pro logic 2 is 5.1 and pro logic 2x is 7.1 rougue sqodren 3 on gamecube supports 7.1 FACT I THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY OVIOUS A DISC STORES DATA IN A DIGITAL MANNER I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COMMON SENCE A DEDICATED DIGITAL SOUND PROCESSOR PROCESSED SOUNDS IN A DIGITAL MANNER MAYBE COMMON SENCE IS SOMETHING ONLY I HAVE so wii clearly have digital sound storage digital sound procesing thats then sent out a high qoality anolog speaker signal its digital process sound thats then sent out to speakers in ANOLOG DONT TRY OUT THINKING A ENGINEER LITTLE BOY

Firstly, the Wii's sound output is a stereo cable. Yes, stereo. The sound in that can be decoded via a Dolby Pro Logic II decoder to simulate surround sound, and it does pretty well in that. But it is in no way true surround sound. That's what I meant by saying it's analog, ergo it's not as good as the Xbox's and Xbox 360's and PS3's sound in actual sound display quality. Besides, you said you're an engineer in: metal machining cnc turning milling etc Which makes you no authority on video game hardware. Besides, unless you don't start showing more intelligence in your posts, nobody will believe you. If we start giving each other titles, I'm getting a university degree in actual computer engineering. I know my stuff. I think you're the little boy in this case.
wiiagama Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 even gamecubes dsp spec clearly shows the prosessor is high performance and gaming optermized it can support both anolog out and digital out but nintendo have kept output to the most supported formats scart/rgb/svideo/conponant FREEVIEW T.V IS DIGITAL IS IT NOT BUT THE SIGNAL IS THEN SENT TO YOUR T.V AS ANOLOG
