Kazzahdrane Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Just what it says on the tin. From (I think) today, you can go into a Gamestation and pre-order the following Wii titles: Zelda: TP Red Steel Rayman: Raving Rabbids Call of Duty 3 Gottlieb Pinball Classics These were the titles I remember from looking at the DVD insert stuff, but I could have missed some. eXcite Truck, however, was absent. They will be displayed in the store's Wii section which most stores now have up. I popped in today and added Zelda and Red Steel to my Wii console pre-order, less than 2 months to go! And no, we don't know how much the games will be sold for yet. But obviously there will be bundles and certainly Zelda will be in very high demand.
Kaeporagaebora Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 What the hell is Gottlieb Pinball Classics?
Kurtle Squad Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I don't think Excite Truck is going to be availible in Europe til '07 to be honest; very disapointing.
Kaeporagaebora Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Thanks, that just raises further questions, though. Oh well, I guess sometimes a game sneaks up on you.
ZeldaFreak Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Preordered my software at Game almost 3-4 weeks ago
ShadowV7 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Thanks for the heads up,i'll go and try and pre-order software soon.
Nintendork Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Yes because software is always short on demand at launch. Pfft.
Charlie Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I'm just going to wait until launch night and see if I can get a bundle or something I htink.
Guest Stefkov Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I'm just going to wait until launch night and see if I can get a bundle or something I think. QFT....nothing to say
Nintendork Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 If the publisher agrees (and I know Ubisoft and Sega are very good at agreeing) then chances are you'll see a Wii bundle at knock down price. Don't expect it with first party titles though. Nintendo doesn't do that. £200 Wii + Super Monkey Ball, or Red Steel I'm thinking. Think about it, Zelda is top of every kids list.. if Sega and Ubisoft wanna penetrate the market on launch they need to show they mean business by cutting £10 off the retail in a bundle. I really think a lot of people will get stung with non refundable deposits on things they don't want as they change their mind and the other shop has a better bargain. Launches are ruthless.. it's get them pre-ordered and make sure they dump the cash in our till.
Ashley Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Theres a thread for European pre-ordery stuff, where this isn't news.
