Even my cheap ass (rather Wii-ripoffed in design) DVD player has a blue LCD disc slot light. Seing as it's even on the official boxart and there has been no mention of it being removed there's absolutely no reason to think it will be. Taken from the ign weekly with Matt Cassamassina's hand on top: If you watch the vid its clearly got a plug in the back. You can see it in that screencap. Its got that plug in the back of it.
