Shorty Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Far from my favourite of Miller's works, but looking awesome nonetheless
Dan_Dare Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 I love how stylised it all looks. I don't know much about it but it looks as if they're basing the direction on the comics themselves ala sin city.
Mundi Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 fucking epic man fucking epic..... Gotta start reading more Frank Miller books, just read 2 Sin City comics. Any special recomendations? Gonna go soon to buy 300 (after watching the trailer) and maybe pick another Frank miller book
Hellfire Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 oo stylish. Funny how Miller went from "I'm too hardcore to make movies" from "OK lets make 3 movies in a short time"
Dan_Dare Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 Batman: Year One and Year Two are the basis for Batman Begins apparently. He also did The Dark Knight Returns. I think he did those anyway. Could be wrong...but I think it was him.

Yeah but that's different, he doesn't own the rights to Batman, I don't know if he had anything to do with the movies, but I don't think so.
Dan_Dare Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 true enough, but they're the books responsible for replacing the camp crusader with the dark knight. For that they are awesome.

Noodleman Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 The new Batman comics he has done are utterly abysmal.
fatnickc Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Was the link meant to go to the new Journal?
Dan_Dare Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 apprears the link has been taken down. oh well. I saw it
