CVD Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 These things are quite possibly one of the best inventions ever. I'd love to have one, but the prices at the moment are still a little steep. This John Lewis one looks pretty good for the money, still expensive I know. Anyone got a digital frame that they could recommend?

Mr_Odwin Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Thank you for this thread! Mother's birthday present is now sorted.
Cube Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Just wait till they make that electronic paper (basically, an eloectronic screen that keeps the pixels the same when there is no voltage) some company has developed.
Bowser57 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Just wait till they make that electronic paper . Mrs Odwin's b'day is fast approaching, when's the paper going to be ready?
James Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 That is quite possibly the best thing I have seen in ages. But since its a still image and an LCD screen, would there not be a problem of the image "burning" onto the screen?
Charlie Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I saw one of these in PC World yesterday. You should set it to a slideshow so it keeps on changing the picture. It also needs to be plugged in at all times. It was £125...
