highland man Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Has anyone got any experience with the beta version of WMP 11. I'm tempted to try it but can't be bothered with an unstable, unreliable program. What's your thoughts on the new player? Cheers
Cube Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Haven't had any problems with it so far (apart from it thinks it can put music on iPods, then fails to do it properly). It's not really that unstable or unreliable, and looks great.
conzer16 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 ^^ same here, no problem whatsoever. Easy to navigate through, and responds well. Havent had any reliability problems whatsoever. Thumbs up
Shorty Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Got it when my new PC arrived and i went to get WMP10, nothing to make me use it really, it's simply laid out, but still uses those boring glass techniques that I'm sick of looking at tbh. I'd still rather use VLC, Winamp, Media Player Classic, PowerDVD and/or iTunes.
mario_jr Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I've had for a while, no problems with whatso ever. Its great with my Vision: M:heart: . Syncs faster than with WMP 10, and is way easier to upload movies with it.
Blue_Ninja0 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Damn, microsoft sure takes it's time to release stable versions. The final versions is going to be released with windows vista, right?
Ramar Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 What I hate about WMP11 Beta, is how it always wants to make a library of music and videos. I've got iTunes for my libraries, I just use it for formats that can't be played on iTunes.

Cube Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 The only thing I hate is that is sometimes changes "tabs" by itself.

I've got iTunes for my libraries, I just use it for formats that can't be played on iTunes. It has never done this on me, but then again I don't use iTunes. The only thing I hate is that is sometimes changes "tabs" by itself. Just play around with it, you'll get used to it.
