A little googling throws up the possibility of Loretta Lynn- The Darkest Day, but that would be "today's the darkest day of my life." Other then that I'm stumped, where have you heard this song? I did see that one and a couple others on google but they didn't sound right. I haven't heard the song, my mum died on Tuesday and she had listed it in her Will as a song she wants played at her funeral but no one knows what it is.
