Johelian Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 (edited) Hmm I'm not fat and I practically lived on those things as a kid; I think it's because of my psycho metabalism though. Don't worry, I like to eat healthily nowadays though--and I want my kids to do the same. Re-read - SALT, not fat ________ B-class Edited February 16, 2011 by Johelian
Cheapshot Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 What all that was over salt?! You're not one of those calorie counters are you?
Blackfox Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 What all that was over salt?! You're not one of those calorie counters are you? Salt causes hypertension (high blood pressure) so they dont want to be giving young children bad conditions from an early age.

Charlie Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 I'm with you Platty. My lunch at weekends is just toast/soup and a choccie biscuit. At school I have a cheese and ham Panini with a carton of fresh Apple Juice and it's very good. The panini's are massive and the prices are very good. £1.55 for all of that, £1.20 for the panini, 35p for the juice. Are school don't serve burgers anymore, only junk food is chips (have I already said that?). We get loads of different things to choose from at the "hot queue", 3 different things a day, usually Macaroni and cheese, lasagne, mince, haggis sometimes. Unfortunately there's no porridge :P
