yo yo Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Well in Kent at least it is, If you're on Orange the call network has a problem, so anyone on PAYG can make free calls to ANYONE ANYWHERE! If i were you i would check it works with your phone, and milk as many calls as you can before the problem is fixed. (I've been making free calls and pranks since 9 this morning, and apparently its not getting fixed within the next day) (btw as far as im aware it only works with calls not texts or the internet) This is one example of where companies screw up in a good way:grin:
demonmike04 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Im sure you'l get billed 2morro =P happend before, get billed once it goes back up.
yo yo Posted May 16, 2006 Author Posted May 16, 2006 I only got 2.00 quid on my phone and i spent well over 10.00 quids worth of calls so far :grin
Maxi678 Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Na, don't think u'l get billed. It is their error on the system, so if they do charge you, then you can demand your money back from them. I did before when Orange went down, got free calls like you have, then the system went back up and they charged my phone £15. Got the money back after threatening to take them to court over this mistake they made.
mike-zim Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 screw em they make so much money on txt messages it will nake up for it. ring companies in japan and america and stuff aswell. use it to the max.
Nintendork Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 The cash machine that gave out twice as much requested caught up with EVERYONE. This is no different.. read the small print, I'm sure there will be a print for 'you agree to be held accountable for all services made from this sim and number while you are registered to it and in effect the bill also.' [/manager speak]
MoogleViper Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Just threaten to move network then they'll let you off.
