I don't know what to think of PoP: The Lost Crown, yet.

Something about it feels off to me. The PS5 version also looks like ass. It also somehow fucks up the entire visuals of my PS5 menus, too. No idea what the hell's going on there.

Granted, I've played about 30 minutes of it, but damn it did not leave me with a good impression.

Robocop is a must play, especially for those who grew up watching the movies.

Is it also enjoyable for people who are clearly old enough to have grown up with the movies, but simply haven't :p

How about for people born over a decade after the first film and haven't seen it, but did watch the 2014 remake?

:p

This is coming to PS+ Extra on Thursday and it's gotten great reviews with people saying it'll become a puzzle classic!

Yeah, Jason Schreier has given it a stupid amount of praise.

Underrated PS2 kaiju game War of the Monsters, which was already ported to the PS4 a decade ago as part of Sony’s ill-fated emulation efforts, appears to be getting an updated re-release.

Gematsu spotted listings on the Taiwanese ratings board for PS5 and PS4 versions of the classic, suggesting the game will be re-deployed in Sony’s new emulator. This isn’t the first time this has happened: Siren was also repackaged as part of PlayStation’s refreshed retro push.

What exactly does this mean, then? Well, it means you can look forward to revisiting this classic Incognito Entertainment effort with an extended Trophy list, rewind, and all-around better performance.

This game is generally quite underrated, even though it attracted extremely positive reviews at launch.

Very happy that this is making its way to the service. As PushSquare said, its a very underrated game.

Not a great month for me. Happy with War of the Monsters showing up so soon and will probably play through Lost Records now that the second part is available. The rest I have no interest in, despite the high praise that Blue Prince has been getting (not my type of game).

Countdown on the PSN store says it'll release at 4pm German time! Perfect, 'cause that's when I'll come back home.

I might, however, not be home for long so probably no long gaming session for me. Which sucks, because I will be away for the weekend, as well :D

Guess I'll have to make most of next week because after that I'll be in Spain for 7 days.

Yes, I'm bragging a bit :p

Currently 42 minutes into my first run.

Stuck at a puzzle in a certain room. I actually got a tiny hint in a previous room, but I don't think it helps me that much.

Not sure if I need more information to solve the puzzle or if I'm just stupid (I think it's the former, but I only tell that to myself so I don't feel bad).

Anyways...already took a lot of screenshots and filled one page of my notebook.

Not sure how I'll structure my notes...I might use two pages for each room and hope that it's enough space :p
For now, I'll just write/scribble everything down I deem important.

Edit: Aaaaand that's the end of my first run. Didn't draft a room that wouldn't lead to a dead end so...nothing left to do :D

3 1/2 hours in and...Blue Prince sure is something.

I have no idea what the fuck's going on, but I'm enjoying it :D

There certainly is/are some overarching puzzle(s)/thread(s) to solve/follow but I have no clue how things are interconnected.

I did unlock one permanent "upgrade" so...yay :p

I see PS+ has been getting a price increase in various countries over the past week, with Australia being hit with one last night. I wonder if the UK/EU will be next on the list...

Just been reading the same, definitely a bit concerning.

I'm honestly surprised Nintendo didn't do the same following the Switch 2 Direct last week and the GCN NSO announcement, but I'm sure that'll come if/when they find a way to add DS/Wii to the service. I also suppose they could only have so much bad/confusing news come out following that Direct and didn't want to pile on :p

Luckily for me, I did just re-up for another year the other day. The decision to buy a couple of PS Now subs ahead of the new PS+ launch a few years ago has continued to pay off for me – being grandfathered in from PS Now, I've been getting (and continue to get) a hefty discount on the annual Premium sub for a couple of years now, which is only costing me £64.99 (vs £119.99 RRP, and is just a fiver more than Essential for 12 months, so a total no-brainer).

I could definitely make more use of it, mind you...

I get a stupid amount of use out of it due to all the premium games I play. My subscription has always been timed to run out when Black Friday sales are on and so I usually get it at a much lower price. Saying that, I wonder if the 5 free days we are getting will mess the timing up for me?

Nintendo will no doubt raise the price of their service. It will just be a question of when and not if.

If the UK/EU is possibly next in line (but then, the US could be next), then i reckon we'll see something around summertime.

I'm quite surprised Nintendo are not upping NSO+ seeing as now you're getting 2 upgrade packs and GCN games.

Last month I played through Deliver Us the Moon and loved it. The second game is due to leave PS+ next week and so I needed to make an effort and crack on with it. Thankfully, the sequel was every bit as good as the original, if not better. It's more of the same but a lot more refined.

The comments about it being more action orientated aren't accurate at all. I was expecting the game to have shooter sections or something but all it is are sections where you are using a couple of axes to climb. Pretty much like in the newer Tomb Raider games.

I think the puzzles are better this time around as well. They involve using lasers, splitters and power dampeners. It's all about how you position the laser beams and angle them to where they need to go. Some of them are really clever.

Once again, the atmosphere in the game is great and the feeling of isolation has been nailed. Playing both of these space games really has me itching to play the Mass Effect series again but unfortunately its too much of a time commitment when I have other stuff I want to get through.
