Londragon Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) Few new trailers. Megatron Bruticus Bumblebee Optimus Prime Anyone else excited about this. The last 2 Transformers games seem to have had some critical acclaim to them. This is being developed by Edge of Reality, different to the first 2 games. What's the hopes this will be any good? I'm hoping for it, as I'm in a Transformers mood recently, been catching up on Prime and Beast Hunters. Edited May 25, 2014 by londragon
Tamazoid Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 High Moon developed some great Transformers games, it's a real shame that they have been relegated to Call Of Duty. I don't have much hope for this one, looking into the developer it doesn't seem that they have made many decent games. When that is coupled with Activision, who are notorious at giving unrealistic development deadlines (007 Legends) I'm not confident. RIP Eurocom.

Another great Transformers game was the one on the PS2. It was developed by Melbourne House and based on the Armada series. It played amazingly well. I remember getting it on release day and sitting playing it with the Transformers animated movie soundtrack playing in the background. Good times.
Londragon Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Yet another Vignette of the turned Decepticon; Drift
Londragon Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Peter Cullen talks about story. Just watched again and the WiiU logo is now missing at the end of the trailer, hmmm?
bryanee Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Its a video from the Playstation youtube channel, everything apart from PS logos are missing. I'd pay Peter Cullen to read me a story in the Prime voice if I could.
Londragon Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Well, this has put paid to my hype for this; Wii U and 3DS versions of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark lack Escalation mode http://nintendoeverything.com/wii-u-and-3ds-versions-of-transformers-rise-of-the-dark-spark-lack-escalation-mode/

Shocking! Does it still have online competitive multiplayer modes though? Shame, Escalation mode is awesome as well. I played the hell out of it on the previous games on the 360 with my mates. Very fun game mode.

Londragon Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Wii U Box Art does not include the Nintendo Network Logo, does this mean online is not going to happen in any form for this game. What a load of bollocks, if that's so.
lostmario Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Not fussed about the game but that shockwave on the boxart, awesome.
Londragon Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 One more vignette, this time the bounty hunter Lockdown
Londragon Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Well, my enthusiasm for playing a Wii U transformers game hit rock bottom, 3/10 NintendoLife http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/wiiu/transformers_rise_of_the_dark_spark No multiplayer whatsoever, online or local. Stripped down, bad draw distance, popping, only looks a little better than a Wii game, are some of the defining words of the review.
