MoogleViper Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Just thought a few people might appreciate this. http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2013/04/17/video-new-zealand-parliament-breaks-into-song-as-equal-marriage-bill-is-passed/
Londragon Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 This is brilliant news, and a wonderful sing-a-long to finish off, another country making the right choices for equality.
Iun Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Gays should have the same right to be as thoroughly and unconsolably miserable in monogamy like me. Support gay marriage!
drahkon Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I still think it's outrageous that same-sex marriage has to be legalised and isn't already allowed everywhere.
Daft Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 If gay marriage has to be legalised does that mean that an individual's choices are assumed to be deviant unless made permissible by the state? Or was gay marriage made illegal at some point in history? /thinking out loud

Or was gay marriage made illegal at some point in history? /thinking out loud Homosexuality was punished by imprisonment and sometimes death until the middle of the 20th Century in Great Britain. And then consider how much of the world had Great Britain as an influence...
