Ehm, try it. I played GameCube version of Zelda OoT (that came with Wind Waker) that only supports 60Hz, and I could play it on a 50Hz TV. I was lucky, the picture just was moved up a little bit so there was a more big black thing in the bottom, then there was some line there too. Nothing bathering gameplay though. I believe it may be different from TV to TV. Some TV may not display anything, some TV may display it totally wrong. Anyways, try it. It won't break your TV.

Yes, try it. It might work. I have played Resident Evil 1 (the remake) with the support of 60Hz and Star Wars Rogue Squadron in my TV 50Hz and they both worked just fine.

I just got geist for christmas. Problem is the box says 60hz and my tv only supports 50, will i still be able to play the game?

I have the same problem with my TV so I didn't buy it

I feel that I should buy another Gamecube game but I still have loads to complete and I don't really know what to do lol.

Geist any good? I heard that it was pretty poor? Battilion Wars sounds and is said to be better, no?

I realise that but i think the features are great and controls just need a little getting used to.

Overall i think it is a really good game, i've never played one like it before.

I'm stuck already though :S just after speaking to the scientist and looking at the pcs

If you've played f.e.a.r before, then all AI is crap :)

well i havent so....i think the AI lets the game down, it feels like your playing a spoof. the potential for the game was high but they didnt pull it off. i wanted a bit more gunplay too , to be honest. the guns have unlimited ammo for some reason as well
