Choze Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 EA announce Battlelog for monthly price of 'FREE' Of course there are things we will not be showing at E3, including the game’s extensive co-op campaign, the introduction of Team Death Match mode and the Battlefield 3 Battlelog web destination – featuring powerful social tools, feeds and detailed player stats. Battlelog also lets you manage your friends lists, squad up, create platoons, use voice chat and follow your friends’ progress in real-time, and more. Battlelog will be available for the monthly fee of (drum roll)... zero dollars. We look forward to providing more information on these features in the near future! http://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/battlefield_bad_company/archive/2011/06/03/bf3-goes-to-e3.aspx## Have fun children.
Debug Mode Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Fuck the console wars, we need more publisher wars going on in here.
Choze Posted June 4, 2011 Author Posted June 4, 2011 Has anyone told Activision yet? We already have poeple trying to justify it here in this very forum so I dont think they are too worried. Either way it makes COD and its fans look stupid. Which is what EA want.
ViPeR Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Weird, Activision reckon you can't provide a service like that for free.
Cube Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Weird, Activision reckon you can't provide a service like that for free. No, they're just smart enough that their fanbase will pay for it, making them millions.
Ramar Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Hmm, I guess this is similar to what Bungie has been offering for a number of years, all free of charge of course.
