Ok so ive just come back from being in Australia for the best part of the year and attempted to use my phone. No such luck with this and I tried to phone Orange yet it appears theyve disconnected my phone.....I put my contract on hold for 6 months and was debited £150 last month so im nots ure why it has been disconnected. Ive tried calling customer services but because my number is now not in use anymore I cant get through to speak to anyone. Help anyone?? :(

Will I have to get a new contract.....on the plus side I saw a deal with a free ps3 sp maybe its a blessing in disguise?

If you can't get through because your number is not active ring the new sales department and ask to be transferred.

If you agreed to place it on hold for a period they should honour that.

I've been with orange for 7 years, they never hold to their side of the agreement because someone will always forget. I've never had issues, but they can be right bastards.

Had a similar issue with T-Mobile, except there were outstanding charges that caused them to put a black mark on my credit rating. CS wouldn't speak to me as I didn't have an active T-Mobile phone number, and as such I couldn't settle the balance. Managed to get an email address for someone quite high up the company by asking around mobile phone related sites (think it was the CS director or some such) and he got it sorted pretty quicj, waving all charges as an apology.

I'd try MSE and What Mobile forums for a start.
