What do you think? I'm personally a little disappointed in the variety of choices. What is your game of the year?

I haven't played ANY of those games mentioned I have to confess so mine is going to be Super mario galaxy 2.

I'll be frank, I'm surprised this thread is actually about the awards and not the trailers; the VGAs have the integrity of damp tissue paper.

Anyway, I think Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is likely my favourite game this year, although it's a close run thing with Red Dead and ME2 waiting in the wings.

yeah agreed it is more about the reveals that the trailers have etc...are they getting aired here again this year? Weren't they on Channel 5 last year?

None of them stand out against one another. They all have amazing things going on with them but they are also all far from what I'd consider a GOTY.

If I had to pick, personally I'd say God of War III, but only really because I like how pissed of Kratos is.

IN short. Game of the year = Red dead redemption

I thought that it was good but not brilliant. Everyone forgot about it after two weeks.
