Charlie Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 RockMelt is a new browser which has its eyes firmly set on being a 'social' browser. As you can see, at the left handside are your Facebook friends who are online so you can talk to them using Facebook Chat. At the right side you can see updates from Facebook/Twitter, various other social networks and add RSS feeds. I've just started using it today having been accepted into the beta. It's probably best explained using their official video.. Anyone else tried this or wants an invite?
Jimbob Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Sounds interesting, very interesting. Thats from only viewing the video. If there's a spare invite, send one over. Wouldn't mind trying it out. Edited November 16, 2010 by Jimbob

Ten10 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 This just sounds like new flock running on an old branch of chromium.
Jimbob Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) I signed up on-site, and was accepted. First thoughts, well if you thought this was Flock on Chrome, then you are off. Will be on Rockmelt tomorrow, and report to follow. Rockmelt It's quite weird to begin with, having your Facebook friends on the left in a nice little bar. But you get used to it after a while, and it is very convenient as well. Love how you can update your status, and tweet all within the same window. No need to visit the sites anymore, which in turn saves your computer. No viruses, woo hoo. I have 3 invites as well, so if anyone is interested send over your e-mail and i'll send an invite.
