Dyson
Have been taking part in the Walkers Win £10 Rainy Days promotion for a while now and have yet to score a square (since the weather has been annoyingly alright), but have had great fun predicting where the rain is gonna come. It occurred to me today that nobody but me at work was actually playing despite most of them buying Walkers crisps daily, and I thought I'd see if anyone here was taking part. Basically, you enter the code found on a pack of Walkers on the website and choose a square for 2 or 3 days time, predicting the place and time of day you think it'll rain (1mm of rainfall in the 4x4 km area you've chosen). If it rains, they send you a £10 cheque. It seems foolish not to if you're buying the crisps anyway. My Dad won earlier today, I was wondering if anyone else has won anything on it yet or even bothered to take part? And if not I recommend you do, it's good fun
MoogleViper
Why not just save the codes until the forecast predicts rain?
Dyson
You bank the codes when you enter them so you can use them at a later date. Also, I have about 16 plays on the thing from using other peoples codes and such and the game runs until the middle of November, so I'm happy using them every day just in case. MoogleViper
Can you use more than one a day?
Dyson
It's one prediction per day.
S.C.G
It's one prediction per day. So you can't save them all up for a rainy day then?
Rummy
So you can't save them all up for a rainy day then? Fuck off ReZ! Oh...wat. Sounds like an interesting promo though, I don't know if it's going to encourage me to be buying crisps, but maybe I shall take a punt next time I'm passing by the cheese and onions. Dyson
I won! That's £10 for me and £20 for my Dad so far. With a month to go there's loads at stake.
Jimbob
I've never thought about entering codes for this, but as it seems everyone wins £10 if their spot rains it could be a more likely win situation.
