...she says "A Soda Fairytale". That's a truth you cannot refute!

Toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe.

----

Saw her in London on Sunday night. This was particularly wonderful as there was a gigantic mechanical dragon above the stage, the theatre she played being the home of that "Wicked" musical. Apt.

She's a bit too main stream for me.

I Lim'd. :D

She was featured in one of the "yay Apple" promotional videos I saw today.

Nothing suits you like a suit?

I like Tori Amos but then again I've only ever listened to Little Earthquakes, I think. Still 596 plays isn't too bad. :)

I love!

After having played myself this song, it's been in my head ever since!

I just love so much. Having too much fun with the white dress and ceremonial sword.

BABY IT BURNS.

Etienne is actually a good song though. I love how it's a trilogy, with two bits being the needless-yet-appreciated Skyeboat Song. Come on Scotland!

I love Fayth too.

Tori Amos is stunning, I love her even though I don't really 'know' her that well yet... musically speaking... I feel like a slut, but in a good way. :p

There's just something about her earlier albums - pre 2000 - that just really makes you want to scream 'Yes!' when listening to her... on an mp3 player... while in a public place... or is that just me? :blank:

Either way I don't really care, I just enjoy listening to her and really should indulge in her music a bit more than I already do, though I'm just glad that I've at least given all of her albums a chance but I think it'll be a while before I really feel like I 'understand' her as an artist, I look forward to getting to know her a little better though. :)

Hehehe can't say i had that reaction, but once uncontrollably got happy tears running down my face while listening to Jackie's Strength with friends after a night of clubbing; that was embarrassing!

I've never really liked Winter that much. Just cause it's very literal in terms of what it's "about", and I can't relate at all, really.

Sights and sound pull me back down. Another year.

I was here.

I was here.

Whipping past the reflecting pool, me and you, skipping school.

We make it up as we go along.

Not even you can stop, can stop what's coming I said.

Not even you, I said, can stop loving...

Poll time! Favorite Tori song from a film, not on one of her albums?

Feel free to add to the list, here's 3 to get it started...

  • The Happy Worker
  • Siren
  • Carnival

Hmm I'm going to go with Siren and Carnival. They're both just incredibly apt for their respective films. My third's Butterfly, even though I've never/have no desire to see Higher Learning.
