You already know the story, the VGA are tonight. And we know that seveal world exclusive trailers are going to be shown.

It seems something even bigger than Halo Reach could be shown ? What could be bigger than a new Halo trailer ? Some says Gears 3, other Metal Gear Solid Rising ? But what about Zelda Wii trailer ?

It's possible. Nintendo know how the surprise people. And that would be a huge surprise.

Let's not forget that Nintendo shown the new trailer from Spirit Tracks at the GTTV for the fisrt time.

Why does Zelda Wii have to be announced at E3.

Well Aonuma has said in interviews there probably wont be any more info until E3.

More importantly though, it's such an obvious E3 thing. It's just the type of thing Nintendo will want to make a big deal of in their E3 conference, plain and simple.

No because it will be shown at E3 2010 and what does GTTV have to do with VGA?

Gametrailers and the VGAs are both owned by the same company.

Anyway, there's always the possibility, but don't get your hopes up. We've heard E3 2010 from a couple of people now, the chances that it actually gets shown at the VGAs are miniscule. There were very few Nintendo games to even be nominated for awards this year, its not the type of show people who really care about Zelda will be watching. E3 really makes the most sense.

TBH, I'd rather it be in July again. I was actually able to watch it live when it was in July.

Just because you hate waiting doesn't mean you're not going to have to. Just be realistic, it's not going to be shown until then and that's that.

It should be a great E3 though. Zelda WILL be shown. Metroid: Other M should finally have gameplay footage and the like. Galaxy 2's hype train will be building up probably, etc.

I thought Gears 3 was gonna show tonight, so it's probably that.

If Nintendo are gonna completely change the game after the first trailer again then I'd rather they never show it!

Probably.

I bet if any Nintendo game gets shown tonight it will be a new trailer for Metroid Other M. Thats probably one of those games they want to show to the crowd that will mostly be watching the VGAs, but wouldn't necessarily be watching Nintendo's press conference at E3. Zelda has always been the sort of game that Nintendo fans love but a lot of the mainstream crowd don't really like for some reason.

What ever it is we will now soon.

I could be wrong but I doubt it will be Gears 3. Microsoft wouldn't want to take away the focus from Halo: Reach and pitting their big franchises against each other would just be stupid.

I don't think it would really be putting their key IPs up against each other, but putting them up at the same time to get people even more excited. Them releasing at the same time is another question, but showing them at the same time makes perfect sense.

I thought Epic said that Gears 3 is more than likely to end up on MS' next console and not the 360?

Is there any guarantee that Nintendo are going to show anything at all at this VGA whatever thing? Is it even remotely big enough event wise for there to be a chance they'll show anything new?

The idea of a Metroid: Other M video appearing is very exciting to me. Obviously that's just completely baseless speculation on what could possibly be but if there's any chance at all I'd love it.

I'd say there's less than a 20% chance of any of the 10 titles being from Nintendo, but its still possible. Nintendo don't really like events much, I think they only go to E3 because they pretty much have to to be taken seriously.

True but it still takes focus away from whats supposed to be a big reveal ( Reach ). Mind you I would be more than happy to see some Gears 3 footage, love the games and can't wait to see where they take the series next. Im just hoping they don't forget what happened in the book that took place straight after the 2nd game.

Nintendo should really embrace these type of events. Something like Metroid: M is a great example of the kind of game that they could show as its the core gamers that will be watching this. Lots of other developers are using this event to promote their games and Nintendo should too.

These sham awards are no match for E3 as far as the traditionally gaming market is concerned and anything shown now to the none informed public would easily be forgotten by the time the release rolls around - so I wouldn't even say it was that high.

Nintendo demonstrated the past two handheld Zelda games at the Spring GDC but personally, I think Zelda on the Wii is too big for that - are Nintendo even representing this time?

Just like in 2004, I see Zelda being the closer to Nintendo's next E3 media brief - that way, they won't have to worry about talking about it.
