Buying a tablet

Don't buy a cheap one, because you'll only regret it. Cheap ones are absolute rubbish.

I'd advise a Wacom Bamboo, but I would think its maybe outside of your budget. On the plus side the Bamboo doesn't need batteries.

Just a little outside my intended budget.

There are wacom tablets in Aldi stores tomorrow:

Oooh temptedings... I'll have to see if I could harass a local Aldi for that. They need to do that deal again.

Everywhere seems so expensive :(

As for the Wacom, just had a look at Play.com and saw some decent looking things.

A bamboo thingy

And this which does other stuff?

Although I won't need the mouse.

for the love of god don't buy a Trust brand tablet. The mouse is just a pointless addon. And probably requires batteries. I've had a Trust tablet and it was a pile of shit. I paid 30 pound for it too. Wasn't worth 50p imo.

The other one you linked looks like the "younger brother" to the Bamboo model that I have, seems to be decent enough.

When they did that deal, they didn't have the tablets out in the store, they kept them behind the counter and you had to ask for one. So if you call your local Aldi and check, they might still have them in stock and maybe even still doing that £39.99 pricetag. they're small, (A6 I think) but that's a good price.
