I'm guessing motion controls for cars? Then some sort of tapping based system for shooting. Dunno how they will do the moving. One thing that will really interest me is the pricing. If it is the exact same game on iphone there is no way they can charge what early adopters paid for the DS version as the app store pricing model doesn't really fit that large amount people just won't pay it.

What Daft said, but also I don't see why it's pathetic. You're not losing out from it and it's probably going to remain twice as good on DS.

I think it was also meant to sell well on the DS.

And unlike other DS games, it still sold quite well. But then I guess any game that doesn't sell over a million is a BOMB.

1up have done a preview on it, sounds like that Rockstar are doing a great job in putting into a platform with different controls.

It wouldn't be too hard for rockstar at all, I would have been impressed if they were able to make it look like the last two GTA games on the PSP. But this, they just have to add in the controls and the feel from what made GTA and GTA2 so good.

But thats as much the perception of the developers as the press and forum dwellers! Rockstar clearly felt they hadn't made enough money from the DS version to warrant the investment made. If the increased revenue from these ports means we end up getting sequels then thats great.

I meant how they have adjusted the touch screen to work with the PSP they could have just scrapped them or turned them purely into QTE but instead they made some effort to think about it.

I never expected it to sell a million really, they were going into a market that has well...to be honest not much interest in GTA, most GTA userbase was already on the PSP, so going to another system was going to be harder then what everyone thought it would be. I am kind of glad that it is coming out for the PSP still, means more people can enjoy it (But then again who the fuck doesn't own a Nintendo DS is beyond me)

Yeah I understood ya ^^

I was just talking about how Rockstar will try to make this feel even more like GTA and GTA2 (Which is never a bad thing)
