dwarf Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Is that for real?! And yeah that Tekken Trailer looked good.
Choze Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Its legit. Got leaked via early Qore download. Sony pretty much have leaked all their stuff this e3. It basically looks like a PSP without the DPad and buttons. The slider has that stuff. Likely much more energy efficient. Looks like it has built in and expandable memory. DS fanboys wont like this :p
Daft Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 It's fugly open, but it looks quite nice closed. Also, that looks like a touch screen with the little framed bit, no? Also, unless that guy has MASSIVE hands, it looks really small.
dwarf Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 What I'm interested in is the graphical output. I think it looks great, and yeah it has to have a touchscreen, if it didn't it would not sell seeing as the iPhone & DS have them.
Choze Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 That's pretty ugly.. Looks fine. Its the same as the original minus buttons. Though i guess alot of people hate that.
dwarf Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I don't think the slide thing looks great in that picture but I think it will be OK if you are actually holding one and it's black, not that weird goldish colour.
Daft Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) It's got a real naff 70s look to it. Although this picture looks better. Edited May 30, 2009 by Daft
Dante Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) The PSP Go video info - 3.8" screen 43% lighter than previous version 16 Gig memory Bluetooth support No UMD Downloads games and movies Edited May 30, 2009 by Dante
Choze Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I dont think i have seen leaked pictures look so bad. Look at the fingers! the device looks good in my eyes. It has the same PSP look.
Dante Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Looks fine. Its the same as the original minus buttons. Though i guess alot of people hate that. The buttons are on the bottom part.
Daft Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Yeah, you keep posting that really awful pic. Look at the other two. The buttons are on the bottom part. He's talking about when it's closed.
MATtheHAT Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I like it.....a lot. It will be a day one purchase for me, especially if Gran Turismo is available. Its a shame they did not add a second analogue though.
Choze Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Yeah, you keep posting that really awful pic. Look at the other two. Here is one without shitty scanlines, compression and 16 colours lol. More normal for substandard mobile phone camera.
Dante Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) PSP Go used the same font on the rumor PS3 Slim images. Edited May 30, 2009 by Dante
dwarf Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Hmmm the make or break factor are the price-points for standard games. I guess it will differ like PSN games do, but is quite important. So the graphics are the same as the standard PSP?
Choze Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 PSP Go used the same font on the rumor PS3 Slim images. font looks different. Unless i am missing something.
flameboy Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Well I think the PSP Go! pics are legit (bit annoying I only bought mine last year but anyway) look forward to them expanding the download service and hopefully means more titles will get on there thinking PS1 in particular.
Daft Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 PSP Go used the same font on the rumor PS3 Slim images. No it doesn't.
Dante Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Hmmm the make or break factor are the price-points for standard games. I guess it will differ like PSN games do, but is quite important. So the graphics are the same as the standard PSP? It the same as the standard PSP with smaller screen. The video contains LBP PSP footage.

Yeah, it looks better. I'm not really a fan of the speaker holes on the top. Or how the top is angular, although I don't mind that much about this. Edited May 30, 2009 by Daft
dwarf Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 If Sony were wiser they would choose a better name. The Playstation brand and PSP brand has it's base but if they want this to sell better they need to re-brand it as just 'Go' or something. (obviously needs a better name than just 'Go')
Caris Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Yeah before I even seen the PS3 pic posted i noticed the boxes look the same, PSP slim might well be real now!
