fex
Do the hacks with Kismac http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1021256519470427962 or reset the router?
Shorty
I may be wrong but if you connect to the router by ethernet cable you bypass the need for a wireless key, then you can access the router's settings and change the key?
Ten10
Something like that according to its make you just type in its ip address. like 192.168.1.1 for example (Linksys)
Molly
Oh thanks reZ, I didn't realise you'd made a thread in the end. Anywho I just had to type a number into a web browser, brought up the D link page, logged in and the wpa key was on there, so easy in the end. RoadKill
First off, connect to it physically, and the IP will be whatever your gateway is start > run > cmd ipconfig Look for "Default gateway" Type that IP address into your web browser, and it'll probably come up with a prompt for username and password, the default for this particular router is: admin admin Then you should be staring at a config page, look for "Wireless" or "Security" or some such rot, and you should eventually find yourself on a page with the encryption settings (WEP/WPA, etc etc) and you should then be able to view or set the goddamn, motherfucking wireless key. You'll need to save after you make changes and the router will likely reboot.
