ReZourceman
My PC has been really noisy for a long time now. I know this is probably a bit of a silly question, but is there anything I can do to ease the noise? Its very loud.

ReZourceman
Its like a whirring noise....probably the fan I think...?
MoogleViper
Put your ear next to the fan. The fan's at the edge of the case so you should easily be able to tell if it's the fan.
Ollie
That's a bit more like it, do you know which fan? They are all pretty easy to replace and cheap too. I had one go on my motherboard, it was the fan on the north bridge chip I think, so I replaced it with a heatsink thingy instead and now it's totally silent
Kirkatronics
I take the case off mine and hoover it, gets rid of the dust and makes ours a bit quieter.
