If you have a Wii and DS then ignore the Wii version and get the handheld one instead - it's much, much better.

Indeed. I'd definitely suggest that if you only have a DS and a Wii and want to try this game, the DS one is the better of the two. The Wii version is shockingly bad. But, I honestly didn't expect much given that Codemasters outsourced it with a shortened development cycle. Still, World Tour on this took me very little time at all to complete and I won every race on first try. There's just no challenge. I know there aren't loads of realistic/arcade style racers on the Wii but if you want similar gameplay, Excite Truck is probably sitting cheap these days and it's much better.
