Triple_C
I don't doubt there is a difference, I just can't tell.
EchoDesiato
I find the taste of sugar in regular Coke too strong, but in Diet Coke too weak. Coke Zero is just perfect.

Dan_Dare
proper coke is the only way. Diet and Zero taste worse and, crucially, thinner. No thanks.

Bren
I used to e a fan of coke, but after drinking too much of it for years i went onto diet coke, try and curb me habit, it hasnt worked, i just drink loads of diet coke now :/ My teeth are holdin up, 1 filling in me life, i do brush em though. Both the cokes taste nice, but i like to think diet may be a tad more healthy for you. I needa get onto water i think :/
Kirkatronics
My dentist agrees, the acid which is present in both Coke and Diet Coke does most of the damage to your tooth enamel so going for the sugarless version doesn't make all that much difference. It was my dentist who told me this too, i couldn't be bothered arguin though as i couldn't find any articles on it.
Happenstance
I just drink Diet Coke, not particularly for it being supposedly healthier I just prefer the taste
Sheikah
Diet coke tastes really artificial (god knows what too much of it does to your system) and real coke is full of sugar/calories.. So they both suck. What coke doesn't taste artificial? :p Not like it's squeezed from a fruit. I hate fizzy drinks. They're like a drink, but with strange gas bubbles that do absolutely nothing except make it worse. Fruit juices and smoothies > fizzy drinks. :p
Emasher
Diet Coke works way better for this:
