Miyamoto directed OoT, but didn't direct MM? I actually think MM is at least on par with OoT, though both in different ways. Some days I actually think MM better, even.

No, MM was the 1st one Aonuma did himself. Nintendo were so pleased with the result (yes, it is an awesome Zelda game) that he was put in charge of the series, under Miyamoto's supervision of course.

EDIT: Hmm... I was just checking Wikipedia now and Miyamoto is not credited as a director on OOT, only as a producer and supervisor. That's odd, I could have sworn he directed OOT...

I'm still not convinced by Wikipedia, I would have to see the end credits of the game.

According to this list the only games he directed since SM64 were Mario Artist and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics...

Not even Pikmin? I thought Pikmin was the only series he directed now, and doesn't even do that. Looks like he turned producer only.

They did it years before with A Link To The Past. :blank:

He'll never quit, then. Surpassing OoT in popularity is a nearly impossible task.

I don't think LttP is more popular than OoT.

Wether you prefer LttP or OoT is a different story. If you loved LttP, good for you. Personally, I didn't even like it.

But there's no denying that OoT is one of the most popular games of all time.
