Beardy Man Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Juno is awesome. Ellen page is awesome. Nothing needs to be added.
Hellfire Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Juno is awesome. Ellen page is awesome. Nothing needs to be added. Michael Cera is awesme. Jason Bateman is awesome. Jennifer Garner is awesome. OK, now we're done.
chairdriver Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I love Ellen Page's face. Easily one of the top 10 movies I've ever seen, just because I've never seen another movie like it. Realistically I prefer this to I Am Legend or any other big film of 2007.
Slaggis Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 Realistically I prefer this to I Am Legend or any other big film of 2007. Totally agree, it's one of my favourite movies I've seen, ever. She gave an awesome performance just like she did in "Hard Candy", another fantastic, low budget movie.
Paj! Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I just remembered I love Jennifer Garner too. I love her face and the way she controls everything she says. I need this film on DVD now.
Slaggis Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 I just remembered I love Jennifer Garner too. I love her face and the way she controls everything she says. I need this film on DVD now. She's dragged her acting self out of the utter bollocks-ness that was Electra. She was pretty good in the movie, as was the rest of the cast. I didn't realise movie posters cost so much! To get a good sized one, it'll cost me £19.99! Jeez!
ReZourceman Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 This years movies so far (Bar St Trinians) = Uberly high quality.
Beardy Man Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Michael Cera is awesme. Justin Bateman is awesome. Jennifer Garner is awesome.OK, now we're done. Justin bateman might be awesome. but jason bateman is total win Now, we're done.
Coolness Bears Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I loved Juno! I watched it twice in the same day! I thought it was an excellent movie best i have seen this year. I have only seen 2 though!
Beardy Man Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I saw it 4 times already! never get tired of it
Hellfire Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Justin bateman might be awesome. but jason bateman is total win Now, we're done. DON'T YOU DARE CORRECT ME!
Haver Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Don't know if you guys saw this: http://www.slate.com/id/2183937/ I think there was a little too much hype + 15/16 year old outsiders-girls/outsider-boys like all that wise-crack crap but will find it annoying at 20. But as I said before, past the annoying first twenty/thirty it's a sweet flick and the ending is fantastic.
Paj! Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 This years movies so far (Bar St Trinians) = Uberly high quality. St.Trinian's was funny in parts. It reminds me of my school's sister school, and private school girls in general.
ReZourceman Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Aye, Im not saying its a bad film, but it doesnt bear thinking about when compared to all the other films this year.
Guest bluey Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Aye, Im not saying its a bad film, but it doesnt bear thinking about when compared to all the other films this year. i'm comparing it to everything....... ever. so i guess i'm being unfair ^__^ it was ok.. i really liked whats-her-face. thought the character was great too, but the story, and some of the other characters in comparison with juno didn't seem to "fit" ... then again it was all a bit of a mish-mash comedy/drama/romance/indie jobbie. i don't get the whole "if you liked x, you'll love x~" comparison thing... i mean, i really really really liked garden state, but wasn't blown away by either this (dont get the comparison at all~) or eternal sunshine... i really like trigun and bebop but can't really be bothered to watch FMA or samurai champloo (although i have the soundtrack for champloo.. cause it's awesomes) </tangent>
flameboy Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Well I loved this film...meant to post about it the day I went to see it but forgot...Everything about it was fantastic the dialogue was so well written, there were so many little touches etc...that I loved just pure brilliance. Also anyone who loves the film get the soundtrack its amazing!
