Quantum of Solace

hey, I'm not denying that you know what you're talking about. It's just a shame you have to be provoked into using your imagination on the forum these days!

You are denying though, you imply words such as cock and minge make me laugh so heartily.

Oh great, another Bond movie. How fantastic. :blank:

I feel that, I must be one of the only ones who thought Casino Royale was most dull.

Not the only one, I'm with you on that. Overrated and all round a wick film and one of my least favourite Bonds. So I'm not particularly looking forward to this Quantam Leap to Solaris thing... but of course I will see it because it is a Bond film after all.

Ah, well if we're getting pedantic; i never denied nuffink. I was implying that your getting clichéd, which is a shame (in my eyes).

I don't actually recall anything decent happening, just sitting around a poker table for ages whilst one dabs at his bleeding eye like a pansy.

Since you enjoy commenting on my spelling of plow.

Anyways, I'm sorry that my thesaurus-esque lexicon isn't be used to its full potential. I've been a trifle busy. Never fear though, I'll be on form soon enough. Now give me a hug :)

I'm glad you noticed one of my non-pedantic occurances :P *hugs* You better dude, if you leave the humour up to me it'll get nowhere.

as for the topic at hand; I like that they went back to Bond's roots and attempted to give him some actual basis for his character, and I guess it's a fool's wish to hope they continue shaping him over the next few films, considering Bond is more of a franchise these days... Hey, Bond films are all about girls, guns and gadgets, but the gadgets used to be cool, like something you'd see on a top-escret episode of Tomorrow's World that you'd hope is actually possible. I'm glad they're using something that Fleming actually wrote as a basis for teh film.

But hey, I'll probably be seeing this at the cinema anyway.

At first, the title seems cheesy and didn't suit Bond. But it has grown on me a little but it still seems like it should belong to a Zelda game or a Harry Potter book or something.

Still, it will be interesting to see how this new movie works and the whole plot once it reaches the big screen of which i shall be seeing it on release.

The action just all started getting a bit out of hand by the time Bond was being run down by a satellite laser beam in an invisible car. They can have gadgets back, but try and stick to more covert items. Shoeknives, for example.

:indeed:

But yeah, the giant sattelite that was going to destroy the earth, the Ice Palace and the bullet car located in the tundra was a bit too far.

This just reminded me... No Eva Green... :( She was the best Bond girl ever.

They have hinted there may be flashbacks as....

....Vesper Lynd's lover might be making an apperance in the new film.

Strangely... I like it!
