dazzybee Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I've just one on ebay in one of my madder moments. Just wondered if anyone had one. What are the best games? Are they region free? I have every single Nintendo machine now - inc. every gameboy original, colour, micro, gba, etc etc. Add it to my shelf!!!
wildo Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Yeah I got one, a pretty fun machine just don't use it for too long, bad headaches ahoy!
Zechs Merquise Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Yeah I got one, a pretty fun machine just don't use it for too long, bad headaches ahoy! Yeah, it actually had a warning sying that kids under 7 shouldn't play it! This was one hell of a gaming blunder. Saying that, I have a total disregard for my health and would love a go!
mcj metroid Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 i believe mario tennis and mario clash and wario land(or was it world) 3 were the best games for it although i never played it. I always wanted to try it though
flameboy Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 i believe mario tennis and mario clash and wario land(or was it world) 3 were the best games for it although i never played it. I always wanted to try it though mario clash was the only game I've played on it and god it was awful...
DiemetriX Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I have one with Maro clash, Mario Tennis, Wario , Bomberman and another game. Don't play it much but great ting to have in your Nintendo collection ^^
bmoose Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 How many games actually came out for the virtual boy, it can't have been many? Almost bought one in Gamestation a while back for £90 but seems a bit steep for a headache.
Jamba Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Defintely Mario Tennis and Wario Land. Wario Land is one of the better games of the genre that I have played and was totally ripped apart when they the Paper Mario series, so many ideas were stolen that it hurts. They really use the perspective and it is a very challenging game. Another one to consider is Red Alarm. Its akin to a scrolling shooter but in 3d. I would think you could relate it to something like G-Police. Really fun and arcadey. Thing you really need to look at getting though is an AC adapter. The battery life is rubbish and will cost you 6 AA batteries a pop. I made one because getting stuff on ebay was hard back then but im sure you'll find one.
