Speedfreak Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 I suppose we're only just hearing about it and this is something they've been planning well in advance, so presumably they've got new staff lined up already.
Hellfire Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 I somehow doubt they lost 90% of their staff. Something is not right here.
Twilight Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 I used to like Perrin but lately there´s been some really terrible interviews with her that sounded like her job doesn´t interest her at all anymore. Maybe she already knew she´d be leaving so she didn´t have much enthusiasm left. And George... Well, I remember him as the boring sales guy between Reggie and Iwata at E3 shows. At least he made a cool entrance last year when the door appeared from nowhere. I think it´s propably just a good thing to have some fresh blood at NOA.
Zechs Merquise Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Good on them - you wouldn't catch me relocating for a job. Why should I uproot myself because my employer feels they might do better somewhere else? There's plenty more jobs out there. Exactly, it's ridiculous to expect all these people to relocate from West to East coast. A bizarre move. It might not be true. Will this affect share prices?
Owen Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Can this cause any problems though, all their jobs are really important, right? So...could this cause delays in America? Quite a surprise this! 90% sounds miles to high though!
The Lillster Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 I think it's 90% of the PR staff that are leaving, not 90% of the company.
DCK Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Shame about Harrisson, but don't see why anyone likes Kaplan, she never did anything for the fans. I wish them luck with finding them new jobs though.
4q2 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 What loss ? In an age of cheap return flights, teleconferencing, email and mobile communications they must have wanted to leave imho.
Konfucius Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 This can only mean one thing. The Reggienator is trying to launch SkyNet!!!!111!!11 I never really liked Kaplan or Harrison. It felt like they knew nothing about games but I think the 90% loss is nothing more but speculation.
Zechs Merquise Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 You do realise this is bollocks right? That's what I thought
