I will complain, and I'm going to get back all the money I paid for delivery, and if they don't I'll carry on complaining until I do and get a discount on the actual TV. Then I'll complain again to the courier and get something else from them.

Yeah their tracking system is fucking awful. I was checking all day at work, last I checked was 4:30, and no update.

 

Attempted delivery was at 12:30.

 

They should rename it - "Find out approximately, rough guesstimate, where your parcel may possibly be, or been, or be in the near to distant future"

I have this TV btw, very nice.

 

And it's worth pointing out that I received one (from the same order) better than the one advertised. I got one with 1200:1 and 6.5ms response time - which is a slightly updated model, at the same price.

 

Who did you guys get delivery from? I picked the cheapest option and it came from Amtrak without problems.

Yeah, it was.

 

I got told by the depot that it would definitely be here by 12pm today... 2:30 and there's no sign of it, I phoned up again and it will now definitely be here by 6pm.

It arrived at about 4:30 today, I was out, so my dad gave the delivery man a bollocking for me.

 

It's really good, I'm really pleased with it. I got the newer version too. :)

Haha, I was going to tell you to look on the box as that's where I found out. It had the specs on the box. :heh:

 

Other than that, I don't really know. The manual is useless and pretty pathetic. The quick-setup guide has loads of mistakes in it too.

Yeah...I noticed that Lol. Like when tuning it in, for fine tuning it tells you to go to auto install instead of manual, thus ruining all previously tuned channels and making you wait another 5 minutes. Heh heh.

Yeah, that's the mistake I was thinking off, haha.

 

I don't really know tbh :heh:

 

I know the response time is how long the screen takes to refresh.

(Wanna hear something stupid...It took me about 5 times for it to tune in and retune in before I understood how it worked/what was happening)

 

Mind you I spose the instructions didnt help greatly. But couple those with my somewhat lack of understanding technology = Instant problem. Working now thank god though.

I tried 10 times to tune in my TV before realising that I don't actually have an ariel.

 

I'll get a cheap freeview box sometime.
