Eddage Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Nah I'm much too much of a poof for that. I didn't mind standing and looking down, but I didn't like looking down when I was walking across it. I love stuff like that. When I climbed the Sydney harbour bridge there was a bit were if you ran it actually looked like there was no floor so it seemed as if you were running on air!
Dog-amoto Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 Tallest building I've seen in person is the 381m Empire State Building, and it's so big that you can't see the spire even when you are standing on the other side of the street. I shudder to think what it would be like to look up at this building from street level!
Noodleman Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 ] Just a comparison with other tall buildings I have been in canary wharf, empire state building, sears tower and the CN Tower :awesome: I read an article about how the builders where treated in UAE and it's utterly appalling. http://www.mg.co.za/article/2008-10-28-behind-the-glitz-of-dubai I've not met a single person who has been to Dubai in the last 5 years that has had a good thing to say about the place.
