Stocka Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=152603&skip=yes EA will bring the first Medal of Honor game to the Wii in March 2007 in the form of Medal of Honor Vanguard. Also releasing on the PS2, MoH Vanguard will give you control of a corporal in more WWII-themed battles, including Nazi face-offs in Sicily and Germany. We think it's safe to assume that the Wii version will control in a similar way to Red Steel and Call of Duty 3, but it'll be interesting to see how well EA's programming boffins deal with the new control system. Don't know if Wii is getting MoH: Airbourne aswell as this. I hope the fact that it's on PS2 aswell doesn't mean the developers wil be lazy with the visuals.
raven_blade2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Looks like you beat me to it. Oh well.. Mods, delete my thread...
Hero-of-Time Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Yeah I have done, thanks for posting it anyway though.
raven_blade2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 So, this means we get 2 Medal of Honor games, right? It would be a very good thing for Wii's game library.
Retro_Link Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I hope the fact that it's on PS2 aswell doesn't mean the developers wil be lazy with the visuals.I think they will be!I'd expect it to look like COD3 does on Wii!
Colin Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Quite sure MOH:Airbourne wasn't announced for the Wii. More games the better though.
Darth-Marximus Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I hope the fact that it's on PS2 aswell doesn't mean the developers wil be lazy with the visuals. Exactly what what I was thinking - this better not be PS2 graphics with a Wii control scheme...come on 3rd parties - get using the Wii clockcycles - stop leaving it to Ninty all the time... And no I'm not a graphics whore - but I did migrate to the next gen for more than a new control scheme. (altho the weather channel is a close 2nd)
AshMat Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Egh, CoD over MoH any day, I played frontline and it sucked so hard.
Pyxis Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 It'll probably be another game that could look better on the Gamecube. Gamecube > lazy PS2 ports
