I'm speaking of Nintendo 1st party games, and Trauma Center is 3rd party game. But Trauma Center indeed has a confirmed release date that I can't remember from top of my head. 29th of July, I think?
-
Interestingly enough, it and Pokemon Battle Revolution are only games that Europe is missing when US finally gets it first Q3 game.
-
Indeed. Considering that Nintendo bought technology for USB-massdevice related filesystem technology just ½ months ago from eSOL, this would be most logical step.

Gore? Original japanese version is actually pretty badly censored. All head explosions and more violent deadscenes were removed.

Final Fantasy CC: The Crystal Bearers!
Teppo Holmqvist replied to Charlie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
And even funnier is that most close-ups are just pre-rendered demos, nothing else. The transition with them and actual engine is seamless, but from technical standpoint, God of War isn't really that special.- 674 replies

à have probably too, because that minimal in-game footage we have seen was pretty nice (of course, resolution was so small it is hard to say anything about finer details).
-
One possibility is that Nintendo releases Pokemon Battle Revolution in july. Double pokèattack.
-
Well, you are wrong. San Andreas sold around 16 million units worldwide, and that number doesn't even have PC-version added to it. Halo 2 has sold 9.2 million units worldwide.

FFXII wasn't really that good looking. Models especially were lacking.- 674 replies

Nintendo Point Out The Blatantly Obvious!
Teppo Holmqvist replied to antster1983's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That is probably most challenging modjob I have ever seen. Target area is so goddamn tiny that it is very easy to botch. -
And it was because of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, not Halo 2.

Hmh, according to Aussie-Nintendo, OFLC, Australia's rating board has given rating for Super Paper Mario. Really good news, as rating process can't even start before OFLC has final version of the PAL disc. Now we only need PEGI rating.

I remember that I did read interview somewhere, where EA's representative said that home console's would get their own Crysis spin-off title. However, the representative also said that the game would be outsourced to other company, and would have nothing to do with Crytek. Pretty similar to Far Cry Instincts, I think.

Well, this is one of those cases that I have been talking about. Game was made originally in english, and translating it to japanese does take some time. It really works both ways.
-
Get attention for some less important titles before inevitable clusterfuck that is called E3.
-
The ironic thing here is that Nintendo itself didn't advertise this event at all, and never intended that everyone would be watching it so closely. We really can thank IGN, 1UP and Kotaku for hyping it beyond its original scope. Oh well, let's the bitching commence.

Well, you should know as you complained about it when game's online system was first unveiled. And yes, like Tellyn said, system works surprisingly well.
-
For me connection has been pretty much lag free, but I always get error code 990010 when complete set of match is finished. Oh well, probably problem with my connection once again.

Got mine. Some early impressions: - More complex than I excepted. Although system looks simple, there is reasonable depth. - Megastrikes aren't so powerful as you could believe from reviews / trailers. Launching them takes long time, and you are extremely easy target for tackles. Furthermore, blocking them is laughably easy (I only missed one ball during my first hour). - Controls work well. - Music is pretty cool. - Pleasant looking, although doesn't really push Wii by any means. Some minor framerate problems in cut-scenes (actual game is silky smooth). Loading times are longer than I excepted.
-
That sounds like some cheap porn movie.
-
Some guy that got game early said at Neogaf that the goalkeeping is extremely easy if you have fast eyes.
-
My game was shipped, should be there either tomorrow or day after that.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)
Teppo Holmqvist replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
BTW, if Brawl is delayed till 2008 in Europe, one good thing is that the game will probably be way more balanced. If you guys didn't know, Nintendo actually made quite drastic game balance changes between NTSC and PAL versions of Melee: * Marth falls over from Fox's shine in PAL. * Bowser, Kirby and Yoshi are heavier in PAL. * Marth, Fox and Mario are lighter in PAL. * Falco's dair now only spikes for the first half of the animation. The rest sends them slightly up. * Sheik's uair isn't as strong in PAL. * Marth's dair is Meteor smash, not spike in PAL. * Fox's down and forward smash are less powerful in PAL. * Yoshi's forward smash is more powerful in PAL. * Peach's dash attack is less powerful in PAL. * Luigi's nair is less powerful in PAL. * Ganon's dair was weakened, from 22% in NTSC to 21% in PAL. * Yoshi's dair was weakened, from 44% in NTSC to 36% in PAL. * Fox's fair has more range on it's hitbox in PAL. * DI on Sheik's dthrow has been changed so that it can no longer chain in PAL. * Fox can tech out of Falcos dthrow in PAL. * Bowser's dthrow now hits Mr. Gn'W in PAL. * Link's super jump glitch was removed in PAL. * Samus's extended grapple beam was removed in PAL. * The IC glitch was removed in PAL. * The Japanese language option was dropped in PAL in favor of Italian, French, Spanish and German. Jigglypuff also sings (Up+B) her name in the language Smash is set to. * Names can now include upper and lower case letters but no Japanese character set. * In the English language setting, distances are measured in meters. * Lag and loading times have been reduced in PAL. * The 'Special Movie*' was removed in PAL (probably to get additional space that was required for localizations). Those are from year old attact trailer. Can't understand Nintendo's logic in posting them.
