Go Nintendo have a link to an interview with ubisoft up, It refers to this site http://www.easynintendo.net/viewtopic.php?t=9 The person who did the interview says they have a recording of it to prove it's legitimacy but won't release it yet as they are unsure if ubisoft will get in trouble due to NDA's..... i don't have much confidence in it being real but meh. It's interesting anyways

I'm not working it out by exchange rates, i never said i was. I'm working it out by using the DS lite as an example as you can't use exchange rates to convert price as we get heavily raped with tax and shit in the UK. Read my whole post and think about it

DS lite is selling for $130...... in the UK it's £99. so working with just the numbers here, to get the UK price you take the US amount and knock off roughly 25% then just swap the symbol. If Wii launches for $250 in the US then that would make it £190. $230 comes to £175 $200 comes to £150 obviously they are a not exact, i rounded them to the nearest likley price points.

it will launch for more than £120. I would say it will have one of these pricetag's in the UK £139.99 £149.99 £159.99

Selling the GC at £130, making the shop demo pod colour purple, having purple as a colour were all mistakes imo. People (probably casual gamers) saw the cheap price and the look of the GC and instantly thought it was underpowered and 'toy like' compared to the're 'amazing' & 'cool' ps2. Granted the cube would have done worse at launch with a higher price but in the long run don't you think it hurt the cubes image being something 'cheap' and 'tacky'. Casual gamers were drooling when the ps2 dropped in price, in the're mind why get a cheap toy when they could get a 'cool' ps2 which came out for £250 and is now something like £150 (at the time of cubes launch). Now with the Wii obviously things are different, It's not trying to be the same as ps3 or 360. It's a lot weaker and isn't about power, It is the second choice console. Nintendo are trying to make it the 'ipod' of home consoles, so it needs to be cheap but not too cheap. Seeing as the DSlite is going to be £99 i would say Nintendo should make it something like £50 more than the lite at all times. Price really is crucial for the Wii, i don't want to hear people say it's a toy. £150 minimum i reckon.

Nintendo seem to think they are giving us what we want but in reality they are just saying do it this way or dont do it at all. Talking about the big numbers in the conference just shows that they think we love it, we just dont have any other option!.... I love the big N but i can't support them on this at all. Which is a shame cuz i normally support them on everything what about a sort of standard universal game invite (you just get a simple pop up msg inviting you to play smash bros for example) if they are worried about saftey. No chatting involved until your in the hosted game or something. Prob a bad idea but meh

i meant you have to be playing the same game at the same time... rather than just being connected to wfc while on the Wii menu etc, then choosing a game to play or chatting etc. i want to turn on my Wii, See if any friends are online (cuz i hate searching for a rival as it sucks) then see if they fancy a game of whatever we decide. DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE??

I was really hoping they wouldn't use the same system as the DS... what can i say, i'm gutted What if you just want to play against one friend or find a friend to play against. You have to be playing the same game at the same time and then connected to nintendo wfc and waiting for them which is just ridiculous if you dont even know the people! It's bollocks! Big hairy ones! GRRRRR! I want to be connected to wfc as soon as i wake my Wii up. Take a look at my friend list and maybe chat and see if they want to play a game of something. Even linking DS to Wii and using a pictochat type method to chat would do for me! How about you just get rid of the friend code and just have your own personal Wii code that is unique to every Wii system made. Even that would be an improvment grr...... rant over oh and btw, i would pay for a premium service too

If you look at the gametrailers video's... vid number 3, the guy gets used to the game and turning looks a lot easier if you compare vid 3 to the other ones. Well imo he gets better
