  1. First hunt was more of a tech demo thou really.... hunters is looking like it has much more adventure.. have faith
  2. i'm sure MP:3 will have more than 4 player online play.
  3. isn't it possible that the next gameboy wont use carts or disc's? Just download games for it through the Rev or an iTunes like system... an ipod can hold what... 60gig? or even more? and the're not very big at all.. nintendo should actually join forces with apple on a portable system and make it an ipod gameboy or a gameboy ipod.. that would be unstoppable. If you look at the amount of effort sony has put in to stop Apple and it's ipod, they haven't even made a dent in ipod's armour. Nintendo havent really tried apart from making the play yan but you can't tell me that lots of effort was put into that. If you look at the rev and the ds:lite, they are looking more and more like one of apple probuct's, Nintendo would be very smart to join forces with apple on either the next gameboy or something else. IMO btw
  4. i have no idea why people even buy from game and others such as hmv which charge full price for games, for a long time now i buy all my games from Gameplay. i got wind waker and prime 2 plus others 2 days before release and i never had to make a trip to the city center. I couldn't recommend them enough imo
  5. Game suck ass anyways. They always charge more than say Argos, Tesco or Asda etc. and as for sony paying game huge amounts of money for shelf space... that should not be legal
  6. True, the lock-on was good for GC. I have a 360 and aiming is a lot more difficult than say aiming on a pc or even on first hunt.
  7. well thats a lie on games behalf.... a brand new game store (big store) just opened up in york and they have no signs of gamecube at all. PS2 has a stupid amount of shelf space, they have probably over 25 copies of each recently released ps2 game spread out.. it takes up at least a third of the shop, madness imo. What are they going to do when zelda comes out? just not sell it??
  8. just read on ign that retro are given a 'special thanks' on hunters, that can only be a good thing
  9. Do you think that retro will look at what hunters has done and try and improve (if thats possible) or at least mimick the modes and the gameplay style such as the no lock-on system (which is a massive improvment in my view)... i really hope they remove the lock on system! : peace:
  10. Unless they bring out 2 versions of the game? Seeing as Zelda looks like it will be out near or at the same time as the rev. Just a thought. Never played Geist..... all the reviews i've read said it was pants so i forgot about it. Were they right?
  11. so is that reggie confirming that zelda:tp will not use the revo controller?
  12. couldn't have put it better myself on topic: there must be a reason why nintendo haven't released any screens. i doubt it's cuz the gfx are unbelieveable. Damn you nintendo!!!!! tell us!!!!
  13. the 'cell' is no holy grail.... sure it's powerfull but ps3 has quite a few bottlenecks... i'd say the most important thing is the gfx chip and ram personally. Anyway, i dont believe this projection theory.. just seems a bit silly to me. a different sort of stereoscopic thing is much more plausable imo
  14. the huge image of the rev is cg isn't it, or am i being a dumbass?
  15. Well i'm just going by what the mag says.. and it is an officail mag so i presume they know more than us?
  16. just got the new nom and on page 76 they have a picture of a white rev above it's docking stand and they clearly state that the stand acts as a power supply. Not sure if this was confirmed before but i didnt know till now (although i did suspect)
  17. i hope i'm wrong i'm just going by previous cube games thats all. : peace:
  18. zelda TP must be on at least 2 GC disc's..... i for one would love it to be released soon for the cube, but then another part of me would love it to move to REV and be on 1 disc with GFX improved and full use of the new controller. But the wait is KILLING ME!!!! whaaaaaaaaa
  19. now that would be sweet i would definatly mod mine to make it red hehe
  20. I really doubt the sensors connect to the REV via USB. even if they did, whats stopping nintendo making the gc ports on the top the recharge wires etc?
  21. I found what i was talking about on http://www.pressthebuttons.com/2005/05/ May 24, 2005 Revolution's Revolution Is Covered By A Flap Spong claims to have had a chance to paw the Nintendo Revolution prototype box. Items of interest from this fondling session include the discovery of one flap that conceals four Nintendo GameCube controller ports and another sealed flap that apparently hides the revolutionary aspect of the Revolution. Another flap, the important and ominous-looking one on the front, would not open."There's a clue there," we were told by senior Nintendo staff today as we pawed the hardware, which we could power on and off and fully examine. "That's the Revolution, right there."
  22. does the dvd dongle thing connect to a usb port? (at the back) or is the port for it located at the front under the mysterious flap? i thought i read somewhere (prob ign) that the 'real' revolution is behind the flap..... i'm sure it was when they first saw the rev in the private guarded room. I could be wrong thou. is it just a slot for SD cards behind the flap?
  23. oh baby........... thats more like it! no more stupid things like poison mushroom awards YAY!!!!
  24. i'm sure the GFX on the rev will be far better than Halo 2 (not that i'm bothered btw). But i do know that the GFX on the ps3 GTA will make all the casual gamers drool.... that game alone will make the ps3 a strong fav in the next gen war (sadly)
  25. GC2 would be slightly more entertaining than 360 but that boring anyway so no thx. i think the rev will satisfy my need for a new experience in gaming.... but what comes after rev will have to be full immersion, otherwise it just wont be enough imo
