This game is great. Been playing it for an hour and a half or so now, got a few whirlms, them snake things, bird things, and fly things, as well as HoT's pinata (cheers for that ). Gardens a bit basic right now, but got 80 points already. Really looking forward to spending the weekend with this. Have to say, the last few weeks have been quality gaming wise. Maybe even some of the most fun weeks I've had with games. And to think the Wii just a week away.

Again, Gameplay are legends. Despatched yesterday, got it today. Looking forward to having a play of it after dinner. Can't believe a game I (and many others) laughed at, is now all the rage.

Who the hell keeps putting stickers on EVERYTHING?! Got Splinter Cell the other day... sticker on the back. Got Viva Pinata today... sticker on the front. And they're not the really good stickers you get at like Gamestation where you can peel them off in 2 seconds, they're the shitty ones that take half hour and leave a load of sticky shit all on the case. Still, looking forward to my weekend of Splinter Cell, Viva Pinata, and Gears of War.

Yeah me to. (Not got work off though :-( But got a good 4 games to be playing this weekend before the Wii weekend next week. Quite looking forward to this, strangely.

PM me for another free 48 hour live trial.

I'm not sure at all what to do. I'm thinking about getting one for christmas, but then it might end up being used to watch King Kong (I liked it...) and then being put away. The main TV in the house is a HDTV and my games look pretty good on it, but not actually convinced it's worth all the cash, I need a new TV in my room and not sure whether to go for a smallish widescreen one but SDTV or whether to save up and get a HDTV next year. So christ knows.

Can you take a pic of your entire games collection altogether cus I reckon it'll be massive! You have loads of 360 games let alone your Cube.
-
I would say: Zelda WW Monkey Ball Pikmin Resident Evil 4 Pikmin 2

Has anyone else got the collectors edition of Splinter Cell? Why have they made the tin so bloody small? Why is it so fecking hard to get the disc out?! Getting rid before it snaps by proper game case.

I'm going to leave it until the weekend to play, I'm far too tired for games. Re-did the mission and it worked properly, although stupidly killed myself after. Feels much better than the original though. I always found it hard to sneak up and take down the guards, they always used to detect me before I could do it, but seems better in this. Which mission is it that has you in white and you're going through the snow? That looks cool.

Splinter Cell is fucking bullshit. Just got to a vent you're supposed to crawl through and it just did some weird movement and I was still on the same side. The bloke I was with got killed and I was really confused as to where I was going. Checked out a guide and it turns out I should be on the other side of the vent. Brilliant. *Switches off*

Hmm and with viva Pinata this week, are we still playing Gears? Or are the 1up guys right when they say 360 owners move from one big game to the next? Have to say though, I couldn't be doing with Uni, all that work! I'm going to beat the shit out of that Splinter Cell case. It's a bag of bollocks.

It's a game for everyone. Obviously the bright colours and everything are going to make this appealing to kids and obviously so is a TV show of it. But if it's got challenge to it, and there's some depth to it, then it's a game that anyone can enjoy. To me this will be like Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, and all of those games that a kid can pick up and play and have fun with, but adults will be able to get a lot out of. Again though, what makes a game 'for kids'? Are we simply saying something easy? Because there's a few bright kids knocking about. Also, are we saying that adults can't play bright and colourful games? Can't believe I've got an Xbox now and I still can't get away from this kids game shit....
-
Enjoying it then?

OMG I think it might be because I'm so tired but Splinter Cell so far has been a painful experience, from trying to get the frigger out the case, to the really weird training thing, to the (as usual) complicated controls in a UbiSoft game, then I was trying to swim and it was making me really agitated. Going to leave it for today and see if I like it more when I've had some sleep. And that was possibly the easiest 10 points I've ever gotten for a game. I might aswell have gotten points for putting the disc in. I just walked up to something, picked it up and walked out. Didn't even need to be careful or anything.
-
Don't think so. I've deleted people anyway, and there's been people who have added me and I've declined. Fuck it anyway, if you don't want them as friends they're not worth caring about.
-
I got Splinter Cell aswell. Tin is crap, so hard to get the games case out of it. Will probably not use it.
-
Well, if anything reviews have said it might be a bit much for kids. And since you haven't played it, and you're a Nintendo fan of all things, let's leave this 'kids game' crap eh?
-
You seem to be making an effort, so I'm going to add you on Live.
-
Just played through the demo and it was OK. Control felt weird, and at one point I went through one of them big ring things and I shot off into the air only to land in water and dying. I do want it, but I'm forcing myself not to get it.
-
I'm still not sure. I may just get on wth what I have already, because it's not like I need a new game, just annoyed that yet another Sonic game is flawed. Anyone want to take bets on the quality of the Wii game?
-
Yep, don't I know it... But I see everyone playing it on my friends list and I want to play :'( I'm just redownloading the demo to convince me how crap it is. If I like the demo, God help me. :|
-
The thing is though, I actually liked the Sonic stages from the first 2 adventure games and could accept the flaws, and I'm just wondering whether or not this is at least as much fun to play as them. Let's not forget, at the time magazines were giving the Adventure games 8/10 and 9/10 in some cases. I'm still not sure what to do, I'm thinking of picking it up this week still, depends how much money I have in my account with Viva Pinata and the Wii out in the next 2 weeks. Damn you Sonic and your rubbishness.
-
:'( I really want to get it despite knowing it's so shit... So, are Sonics action stages as much fun as they've always been? Because I've always hated the crap they throw in there like the mech/treasure hunt bollocks. Is it at least as good as the Dreamcast games?
-
Cool hopefully playing Gears this week then, not played enough this weekend!
