As the 360 thread, Everyone post YES to playing an N-E Gears of War game Friday. Or Else. I was sucked total ass the first time I played, mostly because I would either stay in cover and not attack anyone or because I'd be out in the open too long and get killed. You just need to strike a better balance. And remember, the chainsaw is your friend. I was actually doing quite well at one point last week. Can't wait to play again. Hope some of you will be online Saturday at midnight when I get home.

I haven't played Gears in 3 days! Damn work, and being tired. Is everyone up for a massive Gears session Friday night? Everyone say yes or else.

Haha, I have weird moments like that. But I've got Gear of War, Dead Rising, and now Splinter Cell that are all limited tins/cases, and they all look great, despite the fact that the Gears sleave doesn't fit too well round the tin...

Thanks for that. Wasn't interested enough in SC to pay full price, but I reckon even if I hate it I can get most my money back anyway, so got it on order now.

Is there a thread anywhere with everyones Gamertags listed? I'd quite like to get a list together so we can all add each other, making it easier to get Gears games together. I know a lot of people are on my list, but there are loads who aren't, and rather than having to pm everyone or search through their posts it would be good to just have a straight forward list. Anyone think this is a good idea? Or does the thing in everyones profile negate the need for it?

I'm rubbish at games in general but I'm not too bad a t GoW. Haven't played it tonight too tired so don't want to race through it when I can't fully enjoy it properly. Relaxing with my DS today instead.

Yeah, mine can get like that. Probably shouldn't produce that much heat but the cooler things are crap, and I don't think it affects the console itself.

So what do people think to the whole 'gimmick' concern of a few people? Totally wrong? And do you see this as the true future of games? Also, how are graphics holding up? How do they compare to Gamecube and 360? By that I mean how far behind 360 (standard def only) and how much better than Cube? I'm excited now. My Wii got confirmed today by Gameplay. Legends.

Friday'll be the best day, I don't get home until 6 and even then by the time I'm sat down and ready to play games its nearly 8 and then I can't stay up too late without being knackered the next day. But yeah deffo up for it Friday or Saturday in the day.

Hope you're all up for some Gears on Friday. Going to try and finish single player this week, then maybe do some co-op with Tak or someone.

Wasn't a waste of ammo if I used the pistol to do it. Took me a while cus I kept buggering it up at the 4th one. Hopefully will have the game finished in the next couple of days and I can get on with playing it on hardcore (want to finish casual before I go through it on harder.) And Tak, you best start playing King Kong if you want to get a higher GS than me...

Yeah, that bit, not a fan of it. It wasn't awful by any means just a short low point where I was just waiting for it to end so I could carry on shooting stuff. Half way through act 3 now, still loving it, shame I've got to get stuff ready for tomorrow now, and then can't play again until tomorrow night. I even enjoyed firing my pistol and reloading to get 30 points for perfect reloading.

Wow, really didn't much to the vehicle section I just played. It was so dull. Why the hell is it in this game?!

I don't have a Christmas holiday Have to go into work between boxing day and new years eve. I was really looking forward to playing Zelda all week aswell. The most anoying thing about it is my mnager has said there's no reason for us to be there because there's not actually any work to do. So I might take my DS in and see if I can get away with playing it over the 3 days. Oh BTW is there anyone without Live who wants a free trial? If so PM me.

My fucking controllers dodgy, keeps randomly disconnecting, and I know the batteries are fine I put in brand new ones just yesterday and I haven't play that much of Gears :p
