DOA is great online, me and Tak are gonna have to start some regular sessions, although tbh I can't be bothered with it offline for the simple reason of, that last end 'boss' fight is a piss take. Ruins all my attempts at getting the achievements when I'm in line to get one of the higher ones because it takes me 2 minutes to fecking beat her. So definitely get it of you're after a great online fighter, otherwise maybe rent it first. As for PDZ (can't remember who mentioned that) Again, it's pants offline, but once you get an online game going you can be there for ages. While I'm here, I just bought Just Cause! And while I wasn't disappointed (I didn't really want it, I just really wanted a new game...) it isn't anything special and I would think it'll be sold in the coming weeks, along with a few other games. The scenery in the game though is absolutely beautiful, and thats on my crappy 14" tv. Maybe give it a few plays tey to see if the empty (seriously massive...) world gets anymore interesting.

Same here, I don't know what you're talking about Tak. Mac OS X has still not done anything to annoy me. I get annoyed with something to do with Windows every day. I also think £750 for a laptop with a Core Duo processor is pretty dam good. Lets not forget I can also run Windows on my Mac. I choose not to...

I'm playing through Oblivion and Dead Rising. Oblivion is a bit too big and Dead Rising is majorly frustrating, but both are excellent at times.

That is UNBELIEVABLE. Why would anyone pay that?! I wouldn't pay anything for it. Even if he said he'd give it me half price of a new one, I'd be like, meh I've already got one. I totally agree with this post. Wii and DS are all about innovation. Input is the game for me. You are changing the game entirely. I think the next 2 years will see some incredible games for both systems. Obviously 360 has a list of great software, so hopefully the ever so slightly slow start (still some great games but not enough) will be over soon enough. On another note, Burnout is pissing me right off whilst being a great laugh. I'm loving playing it, but the whole 'dark' issue is truely irritating. I'll be driving along and suddenly in front of me is entirely black and I can't see whether it's a wall or just a dark area. Kinda annoying, but still great game.

I recently discovered the Ricky Gervais radio show on the XFM website, and there is a section of them you can download, but only the very last series. I wanted to downlod the rest of them so I've started downloading a torrent of the whole lot. I'm just wondering if this is illegal or not. I don't download music and tv shows because they are obviously illegal and so this is something I avoid, but I wasn't sure on this. Because I can listen freely on the website, so is it ok to download from somewhere else?

I miss any podcast days. Last one was last week, and they've already said they might give them up. This series of Extras has been great. It's different to the last, as the last was more focused on one big celeb for that episode and this one is more focused on Andy. I'm loving it.

I really want a new game but there is just NOTHING out right now that I'm interested in. Been playing Burnout a bit this week, but I want new games damn it!! The games I'm interested in right are Gears of War, Viva Pinata, Banjo 3, Alan Wake, and Sonic (despite shitness of demo). Really can't wait for some of these. Next year will really be much better for 360 imo. We've had some great games so far, but not enough. Really need to give Dead Rising and Oblivion more of a go still.

Yeah, I don't understand that either... That'd be like me buying a headset but not talking to anyone. So does no one know anything at all about Alan Wake? What sort of game is it? What does it compare to? More Shenmue, or Resident Evil 4? I've looked at a few things but only really found out about the story. So any info would be appreciated.

Well, I finally finished the demo (crapness held me back). I want to love the game, and I may end up buying it, but I'm not optimistic.

Does anyone else find Xbox360 games to be too dark? And I don't mean all the time (otherwise I'd check my TV...), just sometimes when it gets dark, I really can't in front of me. I've just played Burnout and in some dark bits its really annoying. Same with PGR3 and Oblivion. Anyone else find this?

I'm looking for an external DVD-RW drive for my Macbook, and I was wondering if anyone had any idea where I could find one, or better than that, what model to get because, I've seen some, but have no idea whether they will be compatible with Macs or whether they are even any good. Some say they work with Macs but there is no Mac software. What's all that about? Any help would be appreciated, although I do kinda have an idea of where to get them from just not what is compatible with Macs.

I do actually, well, not so much remember bad things, more just not wanting to play it at all, after spending a good 3 hour session on it a month or so ago. I'm on holiday 21st of October and the whole week will be dedicated to some Xbox playing. I want to get into Dead Rising and Oblivion, because I have enjoyed moments of both, just can't be bothered to play them right now.

Is there anything good coming out on 360 any time soon? Anyone got any info on Alan Wake? The game sounds really interesting, but I've not really got much of a clue about it other than its sounds like it has a pretty decent story. What kind of game is it? Is it very story drien like something like Shenmue, or is it action based? When is this scheduled for release aswell? I could find some of these things out, but meh, I'm tired. And you lot need to talk me into keeping my 360! Especially you Takeo...
