Well I would have thought everyone here is at least a Nintendo fan. Otherwise, why are you here? I've got my 360 downstairs right now, so have limited use of it due to the fact that my family are couch potatoes, and without tv wouldnt do anything EVER. Have got my Gamecube set up now though, and have been playing some Soul Calibur 2 (great but it's old.... if there is ever a genre in need of a shake up, it is indeed the fighting one.). Might even have another play of the Wind Waker or something. But Monday I'm determined to complete Gears of War, and I'm also going to return to my garden in Viva Pinata. Don't think I'm ever going to finish Dead Rising though.

I've dragged out the old Gamecube to get in some Wind Waker and Soul Calibur playing, whilst my Wii games sit there mocking me with their beautiful-ness.

Same here, and getting Monkey Ball tomorrow. And I wouldn't say Gameplay shafted anyone, it was Nintendo having a problem with Supply. We're getting a free game and a £10 online voucher. I've got one off ebay coming in the next 10 days anyway.

Cheers mate, already contacted Paypal and it turns out it was because I was actually sent a chip and pin card and so technically my old card had actually expired so this is using an e-cheque. If I'd realised 2 minutes earlier I'd be 12 hours away from Wii heaven. If my bank is any good though it'll go through earlier. Just a case of waiting for payment to go through. The seller has 100% feedback anyway. Since the whole thing about people still having to wait in line for when new stock arrives, I'm kinda ok about having one gaurunteed for within 10 days now. Got all my games aswell. Shame I don't have one now but no worth complaining about is it?

Unfortunately not. Payment isn't going through for 2 weeks now. So I'm even more gutted.

I've just recieved an email from Gameplay (this after I've tried to cancel my order and have bought one from ebay like a retard) that Nintendo have offered me afree game to make up for not getting the console. Sounds great, but the only ones I ever wanted were Monkey Ball and Zelda, and I already own both. Can't complain about getting Red Steel for free though, although I'm not sure if I'll get it having cancelled my order. I'd be ok with that if I hadn't paid £150 extra to get it off ebay for right now...

Cheers man, there's really noway out of it this time. Gonna have to wait 2 weeks for my payment to go through then the item is going to be sent. An extra £150 for no reason, while Zelda and Monkey Ball sit here. Oh God.

Now I feel like more of a c***. contacted the seller, and he has said the payment wont go through until 19th december and so I STILL wont get one for another 2 weeks. Cost me an extra £150 and will get it probably later than Gameplays. I feel like a c***.

I'm a fucking dickhead. Bought one off ebay for £350 with delivery tomorrow. Cancelled my other one, but as soon as I bid I was like nooooooooooooooo why did i?!?!?!?!?! but nobody bid any higher. I'm ok spending that much on it, I can afford it, but still, feel well stupid.

I sat there refreshing for ages, nothing came up and eventually it changed between sold out and we've got them on sale. Wasn't sure but now I'm fucked aren't I...

Some of us don't even have consoles so calm down a bit people, you are at least getting it today. I'm going to sit there refreshing Amazon like a bastard in 10 minutes. I can't have Zelda and Monkey Ball in my house with no console to play them on :-|

I got Zelda through the post today. So I'll enjoy looking at the cover for the next month. Hope you're all enjoying your Wii's!

Well, mine is now saying on Gameplay 'backordered, may be after 22/12'. So not a week like they said. So I'll have Zelda sitting here for ages... Well fuck it, I've ordered Zelda on Gamecube, and I'll forget I'm even getting a Wii.

I broke in my Wii-less rage, I went and bought it. It's decent-ish. Easily my worst 360 game, out of 12 of them.

Well, I'm hoping they release a patch for Sonic as it appears they forgot to finish it before sticking it on a disc. It is better than the demo, just something about the controls feels better, despite some stupidly loose parts, the camera is loathsome, but controls quicker than the demo, and when you're just running along it's as fun as Adventure was on Dreamcast. The town bits are boring, and the loading times are a pain, but I can get over that, but I do hate the random death shit you get. So far on the first level I've died as Tails (that bit was laughably bad), I've died because Sonic said jump and I didn't listen.... and the bit where you're running after the egg carrier is very annoying, because Ikeep hitting things and dying. It seems ok-ish so far, and not as bad as the reviews, I'd say Gamesmasters was spot on tbh. So Domstercool, it's maybe not the worst game I've ever played, but it's far from the best.

Hope you get one. I can't be bothered now, just going to wait until next week, when no doubt it's delivered when nobodys in and I have to wait longer. At least I've got 360.

Mate, I'm in the same boat. Phoned Asda and was told, going on launch tonight we've got 50 available. I said '50?!' she said 'yeah 50'. So turned up at 7.30 and went to the electrical bit, nobody there. I thought that was a bit weird, and asked one of the women behind the desk. She said to go wait in the entrance part, cus they're not going on sale til midnight. No shit sherlock... So I find this waiting area with NOBODY there. Literally just a barrier with a sign, with no people in line. Couldn't believe my luck. But I didn't want to just hang about and look like a cock all by myself, and I was also confused by the fact that they only had 20 in stock (so said the sign...). So I told my dad I'd see him at midnight, and went off to the customer desk to check about the stock. I ask her telling her that an operator from Asda in Tamworth told me there would be 50 in stock and the sign says 20, is it really just 20? She said 'yes, they're all upstairs now, they're all that we've got, and they're all mother fucking allocated to people already (I may have added the mother fucker part). Just as she said it I saw a different woman take down the sign, and the woman I was talking to told me people had been queueing since 12 this afternoon. So thanks for all the lies Asda. To make matters worse, in my rage I bought Sonic The Hedgehog on 360. Cheers for that.

Right, so here's the plan. Go to Asda at about 7-8, then have a look ad decide whether it's worth waiting. If it is then I'll be stood there 4 hours, if not then fuck it I'm going to not bother. Anyone seen Asda in Tamworth today by any chance?

Could be but you could also get it Saturday morning. In terms of my hype, it's all but gone. I'm going to try Asda but I'm not hopeful. My only hope is some Nintendo fans that have pre ordered 2, therefore giving the shops more. Still considering going to town tomorrow morning. If not I guess it's just wait until Gameplay deliver it when I'll be back at work and having to wait even longer cus nobody will be in. : peace:
