Have castlevania and LM2 already, and was planning on getting fire emblem this month too so that's me sorted. Now for the free game.... Donkey kong, Animal Crossing or Lego City? Suppose ill wait for the reviews. Animal crossing has never stuck with me, I just find it a bit pointless, but always open to try it again. Would recommend Castlevania to anybody as a purchase. I've personally put 50 hours into two playthroughs

I haven't actually tested the parameters of the gamepad yet but if I can bring this thing into my living room on the gamepad then It's just changed my life for the better

Big shout out to @S\.C\.G and @Zechs Merquise for helping me get up to HR3 last night, feel like I've gotten over a great hurdle. My next few days will be spent improving my equipment and helping out other noobs so give me a shout if you need help with low rank quests, I'm not overpowered so should be alright

That is exactly what I thought/ did, except iforgot to delete the demo. Then, I was on the train and it had been delayed for an extra hour, I had finished everything else on the 3DS so I booted up the demo again to kill some time. I'm now 40hours into the game and it's all I think about. Obsessed! Moral of the story, try it again

I've decided I'm a bit one dimensional in hunts these days, I've got a set of snow slicers and a carapace great sword and just keep upgrading the Arzuros armor set. I've purchased a bow and some sort of gun, and will be going out into the field to test these beauties. Question, is there a point where my Arzuros armor upgrades will max out? Seems to be keeping up with the high end armours ATM, they're at level five but nt sure how much longer I can get away with it. I am really close to HR3 online, need a couple of buddies to help me there tomorrow (game of thrones tonight) night, anyone?

No time to try the demo, i know this game is going to be awesome so not too fussed, gonna be losing so many hours to gaming in the next couple of months

Im a steady HR2 at the moment so don´t mind helping you with your quests next week

For anybody that has both, which would you recommend? The SNES classic controller or the Mario Family Statuette?

Just collecting resources for my new armor and it's asking me for bnhabara shells. But my great big bloody sword just keeps annihilating them so they disappear. I randomly forged a boomerang last night. If i hit them with that will it stun them?

I know what you mean, they dont give a damn about spoilers, i went on a walking dead article which showed a video and it told you who dies in the last episode, no spoiler tags or anything!!!! Got mine in the post aswell, but wont touch it until the weekend due to monster hunter

Just took on Arzuros in the single player capture mission. Such a great feeling, I discovered how to combine herbs and mushrooms and honey and stocked up on potions, made my own traps and paintballs and felt so prepared. I waltz up and undertook an epic battle, I had set up traps to corner him and everything worked a treat. I feel like I've got a bond with the big guy now, and am now questing to get a full set of Arzuros armor

My first two hours on Monster Hunter: Well, I've had a lot of reading to do, started out the game in Moggi village and pottered around learning how the game works and doing a few measly village quests. I run into a couple of dinosaurs, down they go, nice and easy. I've opted for sword and shield for starters and upgraded another weapon for some strange reason. Anyway, I then got my teeth into a couple of guild quests. Gathering? Pfft ill do a couple of those then go to the big port, fry some bigger fish. I start up the quest: Playing with fire. I fight endlessly with an oversized chicken with a red belly, and I'm dodging, slicing and generally making this guy my bi*ch. it comes down to me using all my herbs, whetstones and I think I've got it on the ropes. I turn around and there is this (unexplained) HUGE dragon which has just shown up and fancies a piece of me. To which I try to run away, but can't because it tears me a new one. Can anybody explain what just happened?

Just bought this, will have a few hours single player and then may venture online, never played monster hunter before so might take a good few hours to wrap my head around things

I got the ASDA deal too and feel slightly bitten, not bothered though, I'm having a blast with my Wii U and don't regret the decision to buy one.

There's a bit at the beginning of the game where you have three (terrible) soldiers to back you up. Two of mine died instantly but then the last one I protected for quite some time before he succumbed to death, how long did everybody else drag them through the game?

3D is always on for me, some of the games look bland without it, castlevania for instance. I find myself exploring the environments much more when there is a good degree of depth to them. Castlevania has these long corridors you can glance down and I'm always keeping an eye on them as I run past incase I see anything like a wandering wraith (those things are spooky as hell)

This is what i'm thinking. See how long the bundled games last then possibly get hunting online with you lot! Want ZombiU aswell..... seems buying late eliminates this game drought thing!

The reviews are indeed all over the place. I'm still going to get this. I haven't played a Castlevania before and it sounds like the guy on the IGN review was throwing his dummy out because it didn't play like one of his favorites (obviously a problem i wont have). I probably would have passed if there was anything else to keep me going until Luigi, Monster Hunter and Fire Emblem, but i think it will be the perfect game until then.

Downloaded the demo earlier, thought it was amazing, its great how many different attack combos are available on the demo, extremely deep 3D as Lens mentioned. Never played a 'Vania game before but ill probably pick this up instead of Monster hunter because i played that demo and it confused me to no end, so many menu screens and items and powerups and weapons and oh my days

Downloaded this and watched an episode tonight. Wish i hadn't... the show is AWFUL! Was there something wrong with me when i was younger, i thought this garbage was entertaining? The same thing happens in every episode in slightly different scenarios. EDIT: Kidoking beats Golem with TACKLE! WTF

If you fancy dipping into Raid mode, i'm also at Square one, so ill happily team up with you. Just going through Hell Mode at the moment myself.
