It doesn't look great, but it plays well. It just like Lego, but with enemy fighting, building and mining. Finding new materials is cool, put sand in a furnace, hey presto glass. There's room for a lot of exploration and just pottering around doing what you want. 2-player local with my son, and since this launched on Wii U, we've created a 12 storey house, a network of roads to traverse the environment quicker, and mines, many many mines. Hours well spent. Think Lego when you were younger, and that's what MineCraft feels like to my son, at least.

UK Sales for the week ending May 7th; -
I do a little here; http://nintendoreview.co.uk/
-
If you still got it I'd go for the ASA code.
-
No definitely not that game. I reviewed Rock n' Racing OffRoad (not DX) and whilst good, does lack game modes. It's a bit of a nostalgic blast with a few old mates, but a bore if you're a lone player. In summary, I gave it a 3/5 stars, but add an extra half star if you've a lot of company. I'm sure the original priced cheaper than the DX version's sale price not so long back in another similar sale.
-
No, not really. I played Block Drop U, and while it is cheap there are only 30 small levels. I think I put in 25 minutes and 100% completed it.

Arghh. Just looked up the eShop. I've played HAMI not KAMI. Kami is a shape puzzle. HAMI is the bouncing ball game. HAMI is a cool little game, cheap but not on special offer now.
-
I've played Tappingo 2 and KAMI. Enjoyed both as quick pick up and play titles. Tappingo reminds me of Picross, but with less of a difficulty curve, just repeats its premise over and over again. KAMI is a little better being that it's skill based ball bouncing puzzling. Good for the asking price, just don't expect too much for 0.79p. Swords and Soldiers 3D has some performance issues that break the game, or so I've been told. Better to buy that on the Wii U.

A few thoughts of my own added to your spoiler in bold.

I wish I was reading it all for the first time again. I be happy to lose my memory of all of it just to go through all that emotion again. It really is good to binge on it. One off collaboration with writer/artist team Brian K Vaughan and Marcos Martin. Get it somehow, but it's entitled The Walking Dead: The Alien. It's canon and it's taken from a viewpoint of life outside the apocalypse.

I don't think Nintendo intend to reinvent every time. They just try to supply a controller to cater to a particular demand. Most people on here think the GamePad was a step too far and misinterpreted that demand that led to being underutilized, but personally it revolutionized my gameplay experience. I don't know if I'll ever be able to go back to having to enter a pause menu to select a map, weapon or item. It would be too cumbersome after the streamlined experience the GamePad has delivered. Personal taste though. I'm just happy with it being a 3DS dual screen experience, but on my TV and Pad.

Yes, but doesn't it also show a complete lack of imagination and a willingness to explore new play styles by Nintendo's competitors. Then again, I loved the Wii Remote and love the Wii U GamePad (I guess I'm in the minority unfortunately).
-
Plus they couldn't get it (the SmartGlass) lag free like the GamePad, so it rendered games, like Rayman, where you need instant feedback a little bit messy. That lag free touch screen input on the GamePad is a thing of technical wonder.
-
True. I don't like FIFA games or football, I'll never buy a PS4. I see it as a COD and FIFA machine. That's why my brother bought one for those 2 games.
-
I spent my first money on this due to getting all those pixel consoles and their peripherals
