Excellent point. Ubisoft has put it's money where it's mouth is by showing it's support for the WiiU in a really good way. People may say that it's "Ubisoft" and it's a "launch title" as a pre-generated excuse for failure, but I think after reading many impressions and previews across the web things are looking good. I agree with Dcubed and also want to see ZombiU become a success, Ubisoft have tried to make something special, they have also made good use of the Gamepad's features to make it a fresh and enjoyable experience. They could have easily played it safe, but I believe they're doing the industry justice and leading by example after looking at the route that ZombiU has taken. Other developers may well look at ZombiU as an example of risk & reward and will hopefully inspire them to produce more fantastic titles with great gameplay and intuitive design making use of the tools available to them in the form of the WiiU Gamepad & Miiverse.

Yeah, I saw this recently too. It's good to see them working on/releasing some more good titles, but I'm just waiting for Cave Story + and NightSky. Imagine if they had one big PAL eShop release containing all of their titles . That would be a mega-week!

Been playing some Uprising recently, especially the multiplayer mode. The competition is MUCH better overall than when I was playing online earlier on in the year. However, I still managed to get some good points at the end of matches. This is my highest (I think) points tally at the end of a match:

Hmmm, I like the Guardian killstreak reward, so I would like to go with that.

Animal Crossing is another game that benefits from DD, and the sales data you showed backs it up.

Like Miyamoto said himself, Retro Studios are more than capable to develop the next Zelda title, but logistically that may not work.

The only Animal I ever played was Wild World. Very enjoyable game. We had the Wii iteration but I was never interested in playing it. Spent a lot of time watching my little sister play, just never 'felt' the need to play it but by that time I think I was already tired out by my hundreds of hours spent on Wild World. Anyway:

Summit, Firing Range & Grid were some of my favourites.

You're exactly right. ZombiU was designed to use the GamePad's features, so playing off the controller would go against it. Whether or not this is possible, is yet to be confirmed by ubisoft (or I've missed it?). Either way I highly doubt you can play the game on the GamePad.

I wouldn't rush if I was you. I say wait until an official statement regarding Nuketown 2025 is released.

I've only ever played COD with my brother. So this is the other main reason why I'll be getting it. I may not be available much of the time (because of uni), but I want to have some fun with the N-E Clan and I will try my best to join you guys during your play sessions.
