Personally I'm happy with the Wii launch lineup. Zelda at launch is a massive advantage and then I'm also looking forward to Red Steel, Splinter Cell, Rayman and WiiPlay. I'm not sure if Excitetruck is a launch title but I'm sure we'll have it before Christmas and that also looks very promising. Same can be said about Warioware. Metroid would have been an amazing addition, but now that I think about it it might have been a bit too much for me. Least this way I'll have Zelda and a few other games to play over Christmas and the first few months of next year, and then Metroid will arrive and I'll be able to give it my undivided attention

The Wii is a lot more powerful than the DS, so it doesn't have the same firmware limitations. So I think they'll go with a single friend code stored on the system.

They have to be really early screens. I know the Wii isn't as powerful as the 360 or the PS3, but it's still capable of a lot more than this.

I was just thinking that. Smash Bros will probably be a Christmas title next year, IMO. In March, we'll probably get MP3, maybe Mario and possibly a few bundles and new colours.

Did you check in Smyths? I think I might preorder mine there. I hope they do get a demo pod in Game, that'd be pretty sweet..

I'd love it if we could use the Stars we still have on our Nintendo accounts as Wii points. I've got nearly 7000 of them, it would be pretty cool if I use them to buy some VC games.

My exams start a few days after the launch, I'm so screwed! I won't be able to resist buying it on launch day, and then Zelda will rule my life and I'll fail all my exams.. Oh well

IGN have reported on this now, glad to see Nintendo implement this. It'll be nice to import games without needing freeloader. They've really pulled out all the stops today.

That master sword scene was epic.. Just seen that on IGN, Reggie said it at the conference in America. Makes me grin uncontrollably, this game is going to be legendary!

Oh god, I'm hoping we get it the following week then. I've had my hopes set on a November release. It would be pretty shocking for Nintendo to release it here before they release it in Japan though..
