if they actually do ice man properly, you know- ice armour, slides and stuff it would be pretty ace. he's supposed to be one of the most powerful mutants in the world so it would be a shame to relegate him to turning coffe into icecubes again. acolytes = coolness though. definatly. it'd be cool as funk to have somebody like fabien cortez in it (he amps up other mutant abilities.) also: any guesses as to who the other mutants backing up magneto are? i think they might have the japanese fella as sunfire perhaps.

this looks pretty awesome.... interesting points i noticed. that forest scene with magneto and crew. is the woman in red the scarlet witch or jean with long hair? the men in black leaping around like mentalists: the acolytes? the first shot of the x men in the sub-basement. Im pretty sure that's colossus on the far left there. nice costume- kinda reminicent of his classic red and yellows. the jugganaut has a new costume. looks like some sort of gladiator get up. looks like he has his trademark helmet under his arm though. ok, magneto (or maybe pheonix?) destroys the golden gate in san fran. that looks well cool. magneto is seen levatating wolvie. any bets we could see the legendary adamantium ripping from the avalon story?

i'll be the first to admit fears about the crew change, but the casting is brilliant and i think the bryan singer rendition of the x men is being kept in tact. i think the biggest change will be the action scenes

its a good read. if you like the movies, look into the 'new x men' story arch. the x-treme story runs parrael to that, its a more traditional style but pretty good.

it relies on the studio more than anything. if thry wanted the writers to stick to singers re-imagining of the story, then they will have. you suggest the script will be like XxX or the direction like rush hour, but its not really up to them. they get paid to do a very specific job. edit. thoughts?

yeah, singers films were full of cameoes, name drops and easter eggs. most of the scenes feature either an x or an o somewhere in the set on the first film, o being magneto's thing aparently, although quite where thats from I dont know.

he's not. maybe next time. thing is with gambit is that he's cool, but other than mr sinister stories he's never been a keystone of the team as much as some other members so it's understandable that he's not in it. Colossus getting a real part this time is far too cool though. if they actually stick to his true character then i think they could make a really good stab at the legacy virus story with him. not this film, obviously, but next time perhaps. oh and to make a more worthwhile point here, apple will have the trailer in hd resolution. thats where you wanna be tomorrow.

apple movies i imagine, and the official movie site. ign will probably link it too. no gambit is kinda poo, but the final inclusion of angel, beast and a whole host of others more than makes up for it. besides, in the event of gambit making an appearance in another film, could we not expect a mr sinister plot? it would be cool to see the mutant massacre storyline done. maybe even gene nation?

truth in that legend. grammer's voice is exactly how hank should sound. i kinda wish they were doing the big tubby feline beast from new x men though. he's cute on gambit: more lost poaching was about as sawyer was going to play him. frankly though, im glad hes not in after hearing that. why not cast that french guy from the horseman on the roof?

projection is way too advanced. remember we're looking at a low price machine here. personally i want to see a dance mat style addon so you have that for your legs and two controlers for arms.

Ive recently gathered quite a collection of retro glory so I'll post some of them The Who: Who's next. utter, utter genius. really is one of the best rock albums imo. The Clash: London Calling. I avoided the hype around the clash, but now i realise sometimes you should beleive the hype. buy this. The Jimmi Hendrix Experience: Axis Bold As Love. A more blues orientated album than are you experienced, and it's utterly fantastic. The Velvet Underground And Nico. really awesome chilled out stuff. sunday morning is aa lovelyan opening track as you will ever come across.
