    Its a bit of a grey area, but I took mine last semmester. thing is, its hard to claim you dont have an ariel or something...

    yeah that was....well it was a bit shit really but it was also very funny

    but the genius of HL2 is that the game itself tells a story, rather than cutscenes or whatever. Those bits are still good but the real narrator is the world around you.

    I found Dead Mans Shoes to be quite, quite brilliant. It's also deeply disturbings stuff. Brilliantly done film.

    I find games that exist with the sole aim of telling a story tend to leave me bored. I just can't be arsed.

    but the codec scenes arent fun. they're shite.

    Don't get me wrong, I like MGS, but it's not the best way to tell a story at all. It requires some serious streamlining and more gameplay for the fourth. Hopefully Kojima will see sense and use some of that ps3 super strength to remove the need for badly implemented codec sessions.
