amazing show. i remember one that had a bad guy lasering his name onto the moon but it was spelt wrong or something. every episode after that had the moon with the word on it

I thought POTC 2 was a bit overlong and generally self indulgent. I don't really think it was franchise material in the mould of these post LOTR epics hollywood loves. If it were shorter/ had less orlando and Keira bollocks, it would have been better. watched Memento last night, and was pleased to see I was right about it the first time: the structure is narrative and directorial genius, the performance of Guy Pearce as Leonard is utterly brilliant. It's dark, twisted, original and darkly funny with a hell of a twist at the end that really hits you between the eyes with its implications. 10.

it's such a good song. It's possibly the silliest, most pretentious thing they've ever performed and all the better for it. It reminds me of Flash Gordon and only lacks some sort of intro- preferably done by Brian Blessed. Here's to the beard enhanced remaster

My night sucked a bit. the venue the club was in licked an impressive ammount of ass: shit dance floor- tiny, round and annoying worse acoustics/ sound- the bad dancefloor was the only place you could hear music properly. The Cloak Room was a shambles: no staff and no tickets. it rapidly devolved into a horrendous free for all with coats all over the floor and broken hanger rails coming off the walls. The Bar sucked. thin, nasty pints all night. yay. Sigh. What a let down.
