Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with the smaller distros such as Damn Small Linux or Puppy Linux?

Could I really do that with such a (for lack of a better word) weak machine? About the network card could I just buy any such as this and it will work as soon as I plug it in? I was thinking about using it as a server but what actually would that mean I could do with it? Emasher although definately the easier solution I reckon I can get a bit more out of it than just keeping the hard drive and dumping the rest.

A while back I was given a old pc that wasn't being used, I accepted thinking I would be able to install Linux on it and mess around with it. The thing was Ubuntu wouldn't install so I pretty much gave up on it. I gave it another shot today and I defragged it and cleaned it up a bit but then I looked at the specs. 400Mhz and 128Mb of ram, which obviously shows the reason why I couldn't install ubuntu but I'm wondering if it would be of any use at all? It's hard drive is 12Gb while not a lot is more than enough for back-up's of documents so I was thinking I could just hook it up to my router but it does not have a ethernet port, just an RJ45. So now I'm thinking I just need to buy a new network card, install that (if I can) and maybe find a really small Linux distro such as DSL etc. What do you guys think? Worth it? All I'm saying is that it is damn hot in here with two pcs and a 360 on.

You can install games on to the hard drive so the PS3 actually has (in theory) quicker loading times. Devil May Cry 4 is an example of this, the PS3 version is supposed to load alot quicker but thats not saying the 360 version takes ages to load, just the PS3 is quicker.

The Lost Boys I really really enjoyed it, whether or not that was to do with Kiefer being in it I'm not sure but still it was awesome anyway. 8/10

It wasn't it in the 2 for £10, but if I like Begin To Hope I will probably buy that aswell, although I have spent far too much on cds this couple of months, I think I have doubled my music collection.

I would of thought Rare would be able to do whatever they want with the license, sure it was on the N64 but all that means that they would have to reprogram the code so it would work on the 360.

Nah it will be, it will definately be out by the end of 2008. Although that may seem like a long time it is not their jobs, they are using their free time to recreate a one of the most critically acclaimed games ever. Those guys must be under so much pressure.

I only have DOA which I'm borrowing before you start moaning. But if I do spot VF cheap in the sales I will probably buy it. Is it worth it though? How is the online?

Yeah seriously its not that hard, you don't need to aim, just shoot from the hip in short bursts and remember to sprint as most as you can.

Completed this today, it is far too short but its immense while it lasts. Halo 3 paced itself better in my opinion but COD4 has probably more set pieces and just feels a better story. The online is pretty good but I still think Halo's is better. Now for The Orange Box...

I seem to be getting on now, COD4 has had an update yeah? It disconnects me straight away when I go to play it but the update never comes up. The Orange Box is working though I want to play COD4...

Xbox Live is failing. -.- It won't sign me in and when I go to tests it says Xbox Live failed. That should only happen when the servers are down yeah? This sucks I got COD4 and The Orange Box and I can't play them.
